How does one have debt associated with Pro Bono work? If it is pro bono, then you don't tell folks you need help paying for stuff. And if it is pro bono you tell folks, "hey, I have spent as much as I can pro bono...time to pitch in".

Rev. Jonathan Hansen of the World Ministries International has been running radio programs with The Pidgeon. A hateful SOB if there ever was one.

This clip features a couple of these defacto ambassadors of U.S. intolerance. Although the host and his guest bemoan the loss of “Judeo-Christian values” in America, make no mistake about it, these guys are authoritarian WASP trash. Period. The use of the word “Judeo” may be a polite nod to the Jewish roots of Christianity, but they don’t like the Jews any more than they like Catholics or Buddhists or thinkers. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but in their minds the best elements of Judaism just gradually begat the Bible Belt-style Protestant movement of the U.S. of A, thanks to Jesus and the Pilgrims (and that swell bible King James wrote…)
What you’re actually hearing here is a radio/TV show called “Warning.” The host– Jonathan Hansen, a bush league doomsday evangelist. Of course, he’d rather you just call him a prophet. And if Protestant prophesy is your game, you gotta get out there and call for the painful and messy end to humanity.
A strong cult of apocalypticism that runs through Protestant America. It’s bad enough that they can’t quit talking about blood and fear and martyrdom, but the fact that guys like this gets a constant hard on by talking and thinking about suffering all the time should tell you everything you need to know. Although it’s an old game (or fetish?), there’s something particularly American about this strange and viral brand of Christianity. It all dovetails with the isolated xenophobia of pale-Americans and their old-fashioned heartland jingoism. Ultimately is that special American spirit, that we’re just better than everybody else, especially if you’re a Christian. And you get extra points if you become a follower of a doomsday nutbag, like Hansen. (If you’re a glutton for punishment, you might wanna check out his website. However, he doesn’t call it "Warning" for nothing. Watch out. Hansen is out to "shake you with a shake that has never shaken you before!" Sounds a little shakey…)

Hansen aired a whole week of The Pidgeon from July 26 through July 30. This is one interview that is chopped up and aired all week. And, this week he's running another full week of Pidgeon from a different event.
I tried to listen to some of it. I really couldn't take very much. The Pidgeon portion is NOT the entire clip. Maybe between 7 and 12 minutes of the Pidgeon on each clip. But, the man can pack a lot of hate into 7 minutes. And Hansen is a Hatriot in full force himself.
I listened to the 7/26 clip. The Pidgeon comes on at about the 3:30 mark and tells a big, long story where he compares Obama to Hitler and "The Beast". Something about the Pergamon Alter. It was recreated at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Obama is the Anti-Christ, don'tcha know.
I listened to the 7/27 clip. Pidgeon says Obama should be investigated for violations of the Logan act. He negotiated with Al-Qaeda before he was the President. Pidge wants an investigation.
Then he goes into a very confusing diatribe where Obama is lawless. His parents marriage was not legal. Their divorce was not legal. I'm telling you, this was totally nutty. I couldn't keep up. I couldn't figure how how he could say they were never legally divorced when he had just said they were never legally married? He said Obama is a man without a country. Lots of lies packed into this one. Vatellite lesson included. The Pidge ends at about 10:20.
These guys spend a lot of time on prophecy. Obama is the Beast and all that.

Emerson sues Dean over flyer in Island County election

Kelly Emerson sued Commissioner John Dean and two other county employees. Those employees would actually be working for her if she wins.
The ballots aren't all counted yet, and she holds a slight lead.
Some have pointed out that she ran on reducing the budget, yet files what will be an expensive lawsuit.

In the recent piece Jerusalem: Permission to Dream; Call for Awakening, of September 24, 2010 by Sarit Larry, Philosophy Department, Boston College, Director of “Beyond Divided Cities: Jerusalem - Israel/Palestine”, it was suggested that “what the conflict needs, what every good divorce needs, is a serious mediator that can resolutely lay down a rule.”
I am therefore proposing that I be engaged to act as a mediator over a to-be-established, and well-funded Land Title Tribunal in Jerusalem, pursuant to the objectives set forth below.
We begin with a framework that is singularly orchestrated to quiet title to properties within certain boundaries of the CisJordan – that is, that portion of land that is under the control of the Israeli government, to include all areas west of the Jordan River, the Golan Heights, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the demarcation lands of UN Resolution S. 181 (hereafter, the “Israeli demarcation lands” or “demarcation lands”).
The objective is not to obtain or declare a Palestinian State or to undertake to obtain recognition of an Israeli state, but to make a determination as to lands in fèrae naturae, lands in title, sacred sites, historic lands, government lands, commercial lands and residential land, and the governing authorities concerning the disposition of titles within the CisJordan.
