In 2000, Lincoln was convicted in Texas on a federal charge of falsely representing his Social Security number, a felony. As a result, he gave up his license to practice in the state.

Originally charged with five felonies, the case resulted from Lincoln applying for a checking account using a false Social Security number.

In a second matter, he was disbarred from U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas after a federal judge requested an investigation of Lincoln because two of his clients had a falsified receipt. The receipt purported to be from the federal court clerk and represented funds the clients had given Lincoln. The clients believed Lincoln was depositing their money in an escrow account related to their case.

Two days before a hearing by the federal court’s admissions committee, Lincoln went to his clients’ home, instructed them not to tell the judge that he gave them the receipt, which he asked them not to produce, and he gave the clients a cashier’s check for $6,000. He did not appear at the hearing.

Charles Edward Lincoln, III is named on the (unsigned) Proof of Service for Orly's latest Motion for Default. According to some internet reports, he is assisting Orly in her cases. His alleged/reported involvment in her cases came just about the same time that the quality of her briefs (in terms of grammar/spelling, etc., if not in terms of logic/legal analysis) dramatically improved.

Lincoln attended Berg's hearing in Philadelphia for Orly's side.

He wrote from Cambridge MA, where his son is taking summer classes at Harvard:

Quote:
Last week I was in Philadelphia for the first (and quite possibly, I would hope, the last) hearing in Berg v. Taitz, which I would rate as one of the stupidest lawsuits I’ve ever seen in my life—two unique Political radicals originally dedicated to the same worthy cause of deposing de facto President Barack Obama fighting each other inside the system they would be more likely to reform if they worked together….I was pleased and honored to be on the side of the clear winner in the case, Dr. Orly Taitz….

He runs a blog on a site called The Hudson Group, which appears to have started as some kind of yoga site, but not really.

From About page:

After 20 years of experience in the computer industry I went to work as the Director of Technology at a DOT.com company. After working there just 6 months they said they made some mistakes and had to lay me off. New jobs were next to none so I started a computer consulting but I needed more income and a way to get back on my feet quickly. Late in 2001 I found an education and mentors program that has completely turned around my financial and personal life. Now 8 years later my life is now more about family, community, giving back and sharing this unique education, conversations and experiences with others.

In Florida (where he is disbarred, BTW), he appeared at a seminar seemingly hosted by this bob hurt guy!

bob hurt:
http://bobhurt.com/

seminar info:

http://bobhurt.com/seminars/20090530_mo ... attack.htm

seminar participants and descriptions:

Quote:
*

Dr. Charles E. Lincoln (J.D., PhD) - Litigation and civil practice / courtroom procedures expert

Malcolm Doney - Mortgage fraud auditor and expert witness

Rod Class - AIB Radio - Constitutional Lobbyist – Private Attorney General

Carl Weston - Private Attorney General – Constitutional Lobbyist

Roger Tanner - Private Investigator Registered FBI Informant – Credit Card Debt Elimination expert

We will announce other speakers at the beginning of the Program!

snip...

Quote:
We have put this seminar together to bring you the latest and best information on how you can attack mortgages, both before a foreclosure happens, and afterward.

Although we cannot guarantee you will win, we will teach you how to take winning actions, both administratively (before going to court), and in litigation (both with pleadings, and in a courtroom). Some who follow our strategies can end up owning their homes free and clear of all debt.

We will teach victims of mortgage fraud how to spot many kinds of fraud and how to take action that can produce financial gains for themselves.

We will also show you how (figuratively) to beat up credit card debt collectors and make credit card (and other unsecured) debt disappear.

We know that attorneys have a huge edge over pro se litigants, both in specialized education and in the opinions of judges, and so we will teach you how to minimize that edge, how to prepare better than most attorneys do, and to look and do your best in court.

We will show you how to “practice” in traffic courts where you have less at stake. We will teach you how to win traffic cases.

CAUTION: If you suffer from overwhelming debt, foreclosure, traffic tickets, due process violations, or judicial corruption, you NEED this seminar. Clear your calendar, email your reservation, and mail in your payment Now.

Quote:
Dr. Charles Lincoln
Principles, goals, and preparing for pro se litigation, how to draft and file a complaint, how to respond to a foreclosure lawsuit, dealing with judges and the bar, using natural contradictions in the law to improve your chance of winning, case studies in foreclosure litigation.

Charles Lincoln was the lawyer who launched the case Atwater v. Lago Vista, which eventually made it to the U.S. Supreme Court, but not with him as the lawyer for the plaintiff. The way the courts handled that case, and retaliated against Lincoln and others for bringing it, is a tale of judicial and prosecutorial corruption that continues today, and deserves wider attention. See full details and case history here > Atwater v. City of Lago Vista

Below are just a few of the important cases Charles Lincoln has successfully brought to the courts. We need more people like him in our country.

Just as a start...I am sure there are others...many, many others...
http://www.calbar.ca.gov/state/calbar/c ... 1-320.html

Quote:

Rule 1-320 Financial Arrangements With Non-Lawyers

(A) Neither a member nor a law firm shall directly or indirectly share legal fees with a person who is not a lawyer, except that:

(1) An agreement between a member and a law firm, partner, or associate may provide for the payment of money after the member's death to the member's estate or to one or more specified persons over a reasonable period of time; or

(2) A member or law firm undertaking to complete unfinished legal business of a deceased member may pay to the estate of the deceased member or other person legally entitled thereto that proportion of the total compensation which fairly represents the services rendered by the deceased member; or

(3) A member or law firm may include non-member employees in a compensation, profit-sharing, or retirement plan even though the plan is based in whole or in part on a profit-sharing arrangement, if such plan does not circumvent these rules or Business and professions Code section 6000 et seq.; or

(4) A member may pay a prescribed registration, referral, or participation fee to a lawyer referral service established, sponsored, and operated in accordance with the State Bar of California's Minimum Standards for a Lawyer Referral Service in California.

This is interesting...right?

http://da.co.la.ca.us/pdf/UPLpublic.pdf

http://law.onecle.com/california/business/6126.html

These numbers are from the report I link to above, I am unsure of they are current, as the report is from 2004.

California:
Quote:
Justice System Integrity Division (213-974-3888) – Felony charges against disbarred
or resigned attorneys who continue to practice, or for attorney misconduct more generally;

Consumer Protection Division (213-580-3273) – Cases involving unfair and deceptive
business practices, false advertising, and for information or assistance with civil enforcement
tools;

Major Fraud Division (213-580-3200) – Cases involving complex and large-scale
fraud offenses.

Are there company corp records for Charles' seeming redemption scheme endeavors in TX? Is his "business' domiciled in TX, CA? Hmmm...

This appears to be the real estate redemption web site...not his blog.
