Yeah, but only because they out-bid Blackwater for the contract.

The comment below sums up the standard paranoid talking points in one neat package:

Quote:
The country is moving quickly to a Communist Dictatorship. Comrade Obama is going to do something to insure that Democrats retain control of Congress, or he is going to do away with constitution by Presidential Order. He is in step with Hugh Chavez. If Obama seize control of the country he will put Sharia law in place. I totally believe he is a Muslim. All you have to do is look at his backing of the new constitution in Kenya, which allowed Sharia law to be imposed in areas of Kenya. We already have Sharia being imposed in Dearborn, MI
.

And what is with rwnj's having to capitalize random words?

Quote:
As the below document makes clear, Southern Poverty Law Center is Now Officially Part of DHS

Is "Now Officially Part of DHS" some new organization? Wut? #-o

I saw a new and improved "Where's the Real birth Certicate" billboard today in Pennsylvania on Route 78. It is certainly nondescript...white with black lettering and real in red. I can't imagine many notice it...and wonder of the ones who do, how.many know wtf it means.

Oh, and do you think it is a coincidence that the nearest town is the home of a certain Mssr Kerchner?

Joseph Farah lacks reading comprehension:

Quote:
The CBS 5 investigative report by Morgan Loew concludes “the real driving force behind the move might have actually been a wealthy conspiracy theory peddler.”

And who might that be?

I’m not sure – after reading and watching the whole report.

Really? Can't figure it out? Because when Morgan Loew refers to the "millionaire conspiracy theory peddler" in the video, they put a big picture of Farah onscreen. And then, in case that left any room for doubt, Loew continues by saying "His name is Joseph Farah."

I'm going to assume that World Nut Daily is in full-tilt "throw everything against the wall and pray something sticks" mode. Because look what Corsi and Joel Gilbert have going now.

ANOTHER DOCTORED IMAGE DEEPENS OBAMA MYSTERY

Quote:
"Does a family photograph of a young Barack Obama posted on the president’s Facebook campaign page offer a clue to the identity of his real father?

A professional graphic artist who examined the 1973 photo believes the image of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, was airbrushed into the scene to cover up an African-American man who was standing next to Obama at the Honolulu airport.

Filmmaker Joel Gilbert, who commissioned the analysis, told WND there’s substantial evidence that the man in the original photograph was Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist Party member, pro-Soviet propagandist and pornographer who played a fatherly role in Obama’s teen years."

And yes, there is video. Complete with scary music and creepy sound effects.

And even an "analysis PDF", done by "Professional Graphic Artist/ Illustrator" Robert Nikolakakis. Most of his work looks like it's advertising, comics, and artificially aging pictures of people. I see no evidence of photographic analysis training, forensics training, or anything else other than he's a graphic artist who uses photoshop.

Which doesn't stop him from stating:

Quote:
"As this version of the photo is digital and in the form of a JPEG file, I would of course prefer to examine a physical version of the photo OR a high-resolution digital version of it to come to a “without a shadow of a doubt” conclusion.

However, in my professional opinion, there is a very strong possibility that this photograph has been doctored; most likely through the technique of piecing together photos or negatives and the use of an airbrush to seamlessly blend them or through modern digital means. All suspected alterations to the photo seem to point to the cutting, pasting, and airbrushing of Barack Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, into the photo to cover up someone of African-American origin."

This seems to be based on the artist's opinion that the hand under Barack Obama's arm "looks like an African-American hand", rather than, oh, a woman's hand in a shadow.

Oooookay.

Not only is it a woman's hand in a shadow, it is a woman's hand in a shadow in an old picture, with the quality of film itself not too high grade..

Hey, I'd settle for "proof" that an American citizen such as Frank Marshall Davis was the sperm donor. That would end all need for the Supreme Court to clarify the definition of "natural born" since there would be no case or controversy to resolve.

Go, Pornstache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll tell you, I'm sick of the shoddy Photoshop work that our side has been doing. The forgetting to flatten the birth certificate and leaving an obviously black persons hand in this photo are unacceptable in a conspiracy of this magnitude. We need to get it together or we will have wasted all the work in getting young Sobarkah born to Malcolm X and Betty Page all those years ago.

Mario Apuzzo is way ahead of you, sugar. You see, despite him not bieng the father, Obama sr. was married to Ann Dunham at the time of the birth, which makes him the Presidents Legal father for Minor V Happersett purposes and therefore he is still inelibubble.

From the article:

WND co-founder Joseph Farah, a veteran newsman who ran daily newspapers in major metropolitan markets for decades before launching WND

Hmmm.

Farah was executive news editor of the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner for six years, until the paper went under in 1989. He was then editor of the Sacramento Union from mid-1990 until late-1991.

That's slightly over 7 years. A wee bit shy of "decades."

His bio also says he served "as editor in chief of a group of California dailies and weeklies." But as those are never named, nor is his length of service ever mentioned, nor are the locations specified as "major metropolitan markets," I'm skeptical that that would push his daily newspaper experience into the territory of "decades."

No, I think it has more to do with World Nut Daily being a partisan far-right extremist site with a history of spreading lies about Democrats in general and President Obama in particular, not to mention having as staff a batch of other hacks that have done everything from lie about military records to calling for revolt and the overthrow of the government.

You know. Little things like that.

Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of photography could have explained this to Corsi, and saved him the embarrassment. But then, that would have also prevented all the accolades showered on him by the brain-dead fawners who hang on every word at WorldNutDaily.

You see, her hand is in the shadow of Obama's arm. When a camera reads light, it doesn't "fill in" information the way our brains do. This is why in some photographs you get washed out features if it's too bright and the shutter is left open too long. Conversely, you can get completely darkened features if the shutter isn't open long enough.

Old point-and-shoots used average metering for light, which means it gathered the accumulation of light in the whole scene, and set the shutter speed based on that. Naturally, everything in shadow is going to show up darker.

The person who then developed the film failed to take this into account, and didn't dodge her hand to lighten it.
It's really quite a simple explanation, which helps explain why it's so elusive to the wingnuts.

Well, Joey is in good company. Larry Sinclair was denied credentials also too.

[Meesh reposts from the original TheRegulator.net] (4 paragraph rule does not apply, greenies) Perhaps Joey can absorb some of these pointers??

Quote:
Nevermind this … for the moment, let’s focus on something else. Dennis has a great observation, no he hasn’t been here since 2008, but people do catch on!

DENNIS says:

Quote:
Maybe we need to view this as a teachable moment. Fat Boy can’t get credentials as a reporter from either the GOP or the Democrats. So here are the reasons why (and BTW Fat Boy, take notes – I have actually dealt with this issue several times).

1. You actually have to present yourself as a real, honest-to-god reporter with a real news site and/or publication. I don’t mean a little web site of bs ran in some weird and erratic manner by yourself and a few friends. It has to be at a level that can be considered a real news site (e.g. Huffington Post).

2. You have to present a body of work by yourself that represents actual news reporting. Not a pile of “stolen” blog postings that you have merely slapped your byline over (e.g. press releases from Gov. Scott’s office). Honest to goodness news reporting of some definable level. Is this asking too much?

3. To be a news reporter, you have to produce something more than a pile of half-coherent accusations combined with strange never ending statements about yourself (most of which sounds like a drunk at 3 in the morning). You need to produce “news stories.” Stuff that actually deals with the larger issues (that is something larger than that PayPal button attached to your belly button).

4. Oddly enough, most people expect a reporter to be able to produce “copy.” That is, stories that are written in a form of clear, precise manner that makes a point, has a subject, and actually presents a case. You can’t do that. We normally know when you actual wrote a piece because it becomes a rambling, narcissistic discourse into the dank back allies of your completely empty subconscious. In fact, they mostly read as if your were unconscious.

5. Use the damn spell checker for god sakes, ass hole. You lack any sense of grammar, structure, or point. The least you can do is spell a damn word.

So of course no one is giving you the time of day. Oh, another problem: You can’t work well as a political reporter attempting to cover presidential politics when you are on the Secret Service watch list. Since you did make a borderline death threat against the president and his wife, you are considered a possible political assassin. The Secret Service will NOT let you near either Obama or Romney because of this. Did you forget about this or do you have shit for brains?

So anyway. No WND. No Sinclair Snooze.
