The call-in number for Steph's show is (800) 783-7412. It begins at 6am PDT and runs until 9am PDT. Lena is scheduled to be on in the 8 am segment.

Do have any questions you'd like the host to ask?

Stephanie@stephaniemiller.com

Producer/mook Chris Lavoi: chris@stephaniemiller.com

For those who don't know Stephanie, she hosts a very snarky radio show. Her father, William Miller, was Barry Goldwater's running mate.

How about asking her to release her citizenship papers?

OK. I'll bite.

1) what was her first name at birth? (so that we can finally be sure whether she is an alumna of Jerusalem University or not)
2) what is the birth place of her father? (goes to the Lieberman connection)
3) what did she study between 1978 and 1981, while she was still living in the Soviet Union?
4) did she ever live in Romania?

Is she still a citizen of Israel, and if so, does she still have an Israeli passport.

How about asking her about the late Ms. Sylvia Doucette-Ladien of Chicago, who died on 2/4/2012 yet donated $2500 to Orly's campaign on 5/27/2012.

If it were my show and I was looking to hand Orly her ass, I wouldn't waste time with single questions that can be easily deflected or dodged. Nor would I take Orly head-on about her ridiculous claims. Above all, I’d avoid going too deep into the weeds with issues that might bore or confuse a casual listener.

Instead, I'd seek to achieve a consistent, unified objective. The top-level goal, of course, is to help Orly expose herself as batshit crazy. And as the next-lower objective, I think I might choose to demonstrate -- Captain Queeg style -- that Orly believes that every judge, every public official and every politician in America is corrupt and disloyal. Every last one of them.

The rules of the game:

1. To the extent possible, deny her the time/opportunity to elaborate on birther details. (The whole schtick about forged SSNs, Selective Service registration, birth certificates, etc. is what she's prepared to talk about. To the extent that the host(s) can keep her from controlling the narrative, they'll succeed in destroying her. Moreover, Orly’s goal is to “educate” the listener. Deny her that!)

2. At each point in the dialogue, channel the topic toward this conclusion: According to Orly, the problem is corruption and disloyalty.

3. If need be, interrupt to ask if a particular point can be explained by corruption. (If she starts on social security fraud, interject a question like, “Why didn't the social security administration figure out this social security fraud years ago?” Then channel, channel, channel.)

One possible line of dialogue:

Quote:
Well, speaking about your lawsuits...

In 2009, Federal Judge Clay Land ordered you to pay $20,000 in sanctions for frivolous filings and other litigation misconduct. You blamed this on judicial corruption

And since you lost the Barnett case in California, you’ve often claimed that this was due to corruption on the part of Federal Judge David Carter.

This past fall, after losing a ballot challenge in New Hampshire, you claimed that the Ballot Law Commission, the Secretary of State and the entire Supreme Court of New Hampshire were corrupt.

Earlier this year, when an Administrative Law Judge ruled against your ballot challenge in Georgia, you called for an investigation into public corruption on the part of that judge, the Secretary of State of Georgia and the circuit court judge who handled the unsuccessful appeal.

About the same time, when all of your motions were rejected by the courts of Hawaii, you accused a Deputy Attorney General of corruption. You also labeled Judge Nishimura, the Director of Health and the State Registrar as corrupt officials.

You seem to have a lot of bad luck with judges. So tell me, have you ever gotten a judge in one of these eligibility cases who was not corrupt? …Are all of the judges in the country corrupt?

****

Changing the subject for a moment, you ran for U.S. Senator in the California primary on June 5th. While there may be a few absentee votes still being counted, it looks like you’ll finish in 5th place. From what I gather, you attribute this poor showing to corruption on the part of the California Republican Committee bosses. Is the entire Republican Party so corrupt that you didn’t have a chance?

Lots of good Americans are also citizens of Israel and hold Israeli passports. The real question is whether she holds an American passport.

This is true, but those Americans don't usually claim to be more patriotic than anyone else, and don't attack a president about "divided loyalties." She'd also be in violation of her oath of citizenship:

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; ...

We have all seen what happens when Orly is interviewed, pretty much every time. She doesn't get or refuses to accept that it is a Q&A, and that she is the A part and expected tor respond to the Q part, the questions, not pontificate as if she had been given a platform to say what is of her choosing. In fact, in most interviews with real questions -- i.e., not on her love fest Right Wing Nut Job Radio interviews -- she immediately ignores the question and says whatever she had planned to say. Then she screeches and interrupts if the interviewer tries to get her to respond even to one question. She does not falter, just goes on and on.

That being the case, I think Stephanie Miller needs to ask if Orly understands that it is an interview, that she is expected to answer questions and that if she wants to make a statement -- and we know she does -- she can if and only if she first answers questions.

Edit: Oh wow. I just Googled the show and it turns out that it is broadcast in a studio in Burbank, two blocks from my office. Too bad it isn't an in-person interview. Would be an interesting opportunity. One can dream.

It's entirely possible that they won't open the phone lines until after she hangs up. I can't see Lena agreeing to take questions from the Obot hoi polloi. 8-)

I love Stephanie, but "some have said" (sorry!) that she becomes flustered interviewing right wing nutcases. Understandable. I would be too, because it's hard to interview or talk to an insane person. Reminds me of lawyer trainings that tried to teach how to deal with difficult and/or obstreperous or obstructionist people. There aren't too many good ways. Best is to let them make jokes of themselves, laugh at them, and defeat them with your knowledge of the law.

Stephanie needs a producer with guts to turn off the mike so that Stephanie can move on to some other schtick if Taitz tries to dominate the host. The whole purpose of a producer is to make the host look good. A turned off mike is the best way to deal with Lena Taitz.

We shall see.

I have 100% confidence in Orly that she will come off as a buffoon and a lunatic and a shrew and a moron and a liar regardless of how Stephanie Miller approaches the interview. \:D/

You can find if there's a station in your area broadcasting Stephanie's show here. Also gives stations with websites that live stream the show.

She's even on the little progressive radio station in River City! Except it'll be closer to lunch time here. I'll have to get my chores done early!

I would ask Orly why she called for the execution of a judge:

Every time two waitresses come up to my table, I know what's coming: "This is Ruby Nuby, I'm training her."

So, helpful soul that I am, I always offer: "Would you like me to pretend to be a really difficult customer?" ;;)

I mean, hell, they might as well get some practice before they deal with the real thing, know what I mean? But I've never been taken up on it, for whatever reason.

Unfortunately, we don't get Stephanie in the UK, but I discovered a couple of years ago that I can get the show on WCPT, a progressive Chicago talk station that broadcasts on the internet. Steph's on at 2:00 p.m. UK time, which is 9:00 a.m. in the Eastern time zone.

If Miller does not permit Taitz to harangue her and the audience, I bet that Taitz will be gone before the hour is up. Actually answering questions is not in Orly's playbook.

Have any of you found TuneIn yet?
http://tunein.com/radio/options/The-Stephanie-Miller-Show-p52098/

They also have apps for iPhone and Droid. The app works pretty well and is free. You need a solid internet connection on your phone, though (4G preferably).

I use the app in my car and jack the audio into the car stereo system. :-bd
Edit: Also, they have a paid app version (99 ccents) that allows you to record what you're listening to.

I went looking on iheartradio and found the LA station KTLK 1150 AM. So I guess I'm droid-ready.
