I guess they don't care about webhits. Not much advertising on the site either. My guess is the site exists merely as a courtesy to local residents.

Yeah, think so. I refreshed the page and *poof* pages and pages and pages of comments gone.

Sigh, thanks to KBOAsshole ](*,) Guy probably got tired of modding a single article.

Too bad. If they'd have left all of KBOA's tripe, it was a perfect showcase for the way TFB handles one of the nuttier birthers...

It's kind of weird. I posted on that article through Facebook. Now I'm getting notifications when someone responds. When I click from the Facebook notification, I can see comments on the article. But not all of them.

I dunno.

Responses seem to still be there for me.
Edit: Oops, shouldn't have hit that refresh button.

Last entry from like 20 minutes ago thanked Rooster for being such a fine, patriotic bird.

That one went back to the 'lab for some re-working. Some pesky artifact issues needed to be "handled".

KBOA is how I noticed the comments were gone. I got an email notice she had replied regarding her Maryland thingy.

She seems to think she has a hearing in August. I wanted to tell her we call those Slapdowns, not hearings.

LOL -- using the Tardis, were they?
Quote:
There were 27 minority partners in early 1990, compared to 25 minorities at the same firms in 1988 and 24 in 1987. Blacks, Asians and Hispanics were stuck at 1.2 percent of all partners in each of the three years examined in the survey.

Of course, the article was dated December 31, 1969 -- which is even earlier than the old PC default date of 1/1/1970.

Hey Tracy!

The mods at the NewsObserver are not being easy on the Corn. She's lost five or six comments, like "Foggy's a commie," "Hawai'i's not a state," etc.

KBOA is really trying to make the claim that Hawaii is not a state? Really? Wow, she's a bigger idiot than I thought.

Is there a link to where she says this, or is it part of the comments that got taken down?

But even if Hawaii was not a state in 1961, it wouldn't change Obama's citizenship anyway. There is no requirement that to be a citizen you must be born within a state. For example, D.C is not a state, and no one would question the citizenship of some one born there. Similarly, when Goldwater was born in Arizona it was not yet a state, and yet he was considered eligible to run for president in 1964, right?

There is a big difference between Hawaii and those other states: Hawaii has a lot of people who are not like "us." They might even resist a Constitutional amendment declaring that national offices are open only to devoted white Christians.

Correct WD.

And Charles Evans Hughs, Vice President, was born in Kansas Territory, if I remember correctly.

From the most excellent Cast of Characters at BadFiction:

Quote:
Tracy Dorsey nee Fine, aka "KenyanBornObamaAcorn" and FogbowObotsExposed" - Birther stalker and troll, known for going after debunkers and abusing them until she violates a sites rules and gets kicked off. At which point she screams censorship and acts like a martyr. Known for threatening people she doesn't like. Does nonsensical YouTube videos. Possibly unstable or mentally ill.

Also plaintiff in a Maryland Ballot Challenge. One of the most prolific birther spammers, she'll cut and paste her drivel on any site that mentions birthers. Because she has a google alert set for it.
