Over in the WND thread I just posted a link to a new Dave Weigel piece on WND and the birthers.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1346&p=272005#p272005

They don't like it, and have posted some comments. Right now, as I'm writing this, the top post is a birfer post. And you now it's gonna be important because there is no real comment, just links. And anything that starts out with a YouTube link, well.... nothing tumps YouTube proof.

Quote:

You, YES YOU Mr. Couch Potato Teabager, can download and fill in the blanks on a couple of documents demanding Quo Warranto right from the comfort of your very own motion furniture.

The forms have everything you'll need to demand the removal of the KenyaUsurperSocialist, and what's best, they have remedies and relief.

Quote:
18. Is Barack Hussein Obama II an Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 natural born citizen?
NO

19. CLAIM: Hussein Obama II cannot prove he is an Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5
natural born citizen.

20. RELIEF REQUESTED: With utmost urgency, Barack Hussein Obama II must
resign from office without benefits and he and his cohorts, Nancy Pelosi, and
DOES 1 thru 1,000,
shall face trial for offenses against the US Constitution.

<snip>

23. CLAIM: Barack Hussein Obama II, is a de facto president, a usurper. He is
guilty of infamous crimes against the US Constitution, that of unlawfully
occupying the office of the President of the United States.

24. RELIEF REQUESTED: The Speaker of the House of Representatives must
demand that Barack Hussein Obama II immediately stand down. The Speaker
must also seize the White House, secure the furnishings, including all
emoluments
, and then swear in the next in line of succession to the US
President.

25. CLAIM: Everybody reading this and not acting to protect the US Constitution
is guilty of misprision of felony.
(18USC Sec. 4. Misprision of felony, 18USC
Sec. 2382. Misprision of treason, UCMJ 134/95 Misprision of Serious Offense)

26. RELIEF REQUESTED: For any failure to comply with the above, it is requested
the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, working with County Sheriffs, effect
a coup de tat and martial law, or posse comitatus, as needed, or until the
election of civil government, and restoration of law and order. (32CFR215,
10USC331, 10USC332, 10USC333, US ARMY FM 3-28).

Now I'm sure that all of you are gonna go right down and turn yourself in for misprison of felony. I guess I'm gonna have to find someone to feed the cats.

Doesn't violate the 4 graph rule, not copyrighted

Great legal minds to quote from the 101st Amendment "The Birther" to the US Constitution, where:
"the Judge of the 0th Circuit shall instruct the Heads of the Armed Forces to initiate a legal cup di tat that shall bring back the Country of the True Patriots to the year 1789 and shall proclaim The Honorable George Washington as the POTUS For Ever and Ever."

Rumor Mill News (one of my favorite entertainments) often runs articles on the coming martial law in America, FEMA camps and coffins, FEMA trains, predator drones over American cities, and all the rest of that line of paranoid baggage.

Today RMN has an article about the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Raymond T. "Ray" Odierno. It claims that he has called for the use of the Army to supplement local police when needed. It also attacks him:

America’s 'Dimwit General' Calls for Martial Law
Quote:
There is an agreement within his own staff and those who have ever served with him, General Odierno is the biggest “horses ass’ to have worn an American uniform since Custer. The term his staff uses, to be quite exact is “dangerous dimwit.”

This week, Odierno, a member of the CFR, the Council on Foreign Relations, a group consisting of failed academics, rap artists, former hockey players who too many high sticks to the head and delusional dimwits like Odierno, advocated the use of the Army any time local police need help.
...
“Where appropriate we will also dedicate active-duty forces, especially those with niche skills and equipment, to provide civilian officials with a robust set of reliable and rapid response options.”…Odierno
...
It is past due time for the several States legislatures to each revitalize their Militia institution and comply with their enumerated duty. Both the reasoning behind the constitutionalism and history have articulated the consequences of professional soldiers in a standing army forced against the citizenry.”

Not having qualified by any of the above criteria to be a member of the CFR, I have no idea whether this is a true report. Not being an attorney, I have no idea whether what Odierno is said to be proposing violates any law. Not being a buck private, I have no idea what the military has to say about this. Not being a member of the National Guard, I have no idea whether this falls within the scope of their normal duties. Not being nutz, I don't think that General Odierno is nutz.

Any knowledge out there?

Knowing how the National Guard tries to assist local law enforcement after major natural disasters, it sounds like Gen. Odierno is referencing this. But this is a comment a nutter can misconstrue.
People here are a having a fit that drones have been flying over farms for several years in attempt to find "special niche crops" or unusual cottage industries. I guess the drones even use infrared cameras that can see if people are farming hydroponically in their basements or barns.
For decades the DEA has been flying over farms and forests looking for specialty crops. This is nothing new, but the paranoia about drones as weapons and peering into their homes has created an outrage.

A bit - Posse Comitatus Act http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act prevents federal troops from being used unless a national emergency has been declared.

National/Air Guard are state resources that ARE THE MILITIA THE FOUNDING FATHERS WANTED...As long as they are under state control, the Governor can detail them out to enforce the laws (there are several MP units in the guard/reserve). Once a guardsman is activated (elevated) to Federal Service...things change.

This is the original from Veterans Today:

Army “Nutter” Ray Odierno Goes “Full Stalin” at CFR

That article was an adaptation of this one:

CFR & U.S. Army Chief of Staff: Use Army for Domestic Enforcement

I'm thinking that all of this was generated by the RWKJ (Right Wing Knee Jerk) over the XO Obama signed for Emergency Preparedness. Just an edumacated guess.

This is the Odierno quote these folks are all up in arms over:

Quote:
Finally, the challenges in the United States itself remain daunting. Although the actions of our forces overseas have helped preclude more terrorist attacks on the U.S. homeland, the threat persists. The need for U.S. armed forces, and the army in particular, to provide planning, logistical, command-and-control, and equipment support to civil authorities in the event of natural disasters continues to be demonstrated regularly and is unlikely to diminish. And many security challenges in the Americas are transnational, including humanitarian crises, illicit trafficking, organized crime, terrorism, and weapons proliferation. Army forces will continue to be ready to contribute to broader national efforts to counter those challenges at home, if needed. Our reserve component soldiers remain the bedrock of the army's domestic response capability, but where appropriate we will also dedicate active-duty forces, especially those with niche skills and equipment, to provide civilian officials with a robust set of reliable and rapid response options.

From what a friend in Oregon tells me, people growing special niche crops and running cottage industries in the forests have set deadly booby traps for law enforcement officers, which could also attack hikers and families on picnics. Those drones sound like a pretty good idea.

Of course, nowadays you have to watch out for meth labs in your local Walmart. One story has it that a woman was detained for shoplifting and then began trying to make meth while in the Loss Prevention Office. "However she said that she was not very good at it," said police officer David Shelby."

I have a very different attitude towards meth than I do towards pot.

Your friend is correct. A good many people (including the cartels) are growing weed in our forests and some are very well defended. At one time it was Oregon's most lucrative crop.

Somebody has to post the tale of the Massachusetts man who doused himself in sun screen and stepped up to the outdoor grill. Second-degree burns.

Well, he did go to a hospital burns unit, and those are not cheap. He correctly says that he could have died. A good thing is that he did not succeed in spraying his entire back, given the burn marks shown in the hospital pictures.

He says that he does not intend to sue.

Sorcha Faal is so far beyond the realm of credibility that it is likely that few RWNJ's believe those reports, which always come via the Russian FSB. This report perpetuates the fear-mongering of the misleading report about Gen. Odierno's speech to the CFR:

What Does It Mean? June 11, 2012 380 American Rebels Reported Killed In Michigan Battle
Quote:
A shocking Federal Security Service (FSB) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that last week an “intense” battle erupted in the US State of Michigan between military forces loyal to the Obama regime and American rebels that killed at least 380 men, women and children who had gathered to oppose their nations slide towards a totalitarian dictatorship.

According to this report, nearly 500 people opposed to the Obama regime had assembled for a “clandestine” meeting in the Michigan country of Alpena in an effort to form a 50-State alliance of local law enforcement and political officers seeking to “turn the tide” of their nations path towards dictatorship even, should it be necessary, by armed force.

The FSB states in this report that hostilities erupted when the American rebel forces gathered at this meeting indentified “several” undercover FBI informants who were seeking to “escalate tensions” and arrested them whereupon, “within minutes,” a contingent of “heavily armed” Obama regime federal police forces attempted to, in turn, arrest these rebel leaders.

After a “prolonged skirmish” between these rebel forces and Obama regime federal police, this report continues, the US Military launched a series of airstrikes, the largest being a 2,000 lb laser guided bomb that hit in the middle of those gathered at this meeting killing over three quarters of them instantly.

This would be funny were it not for the fact that some people do believe such reports and that belief only increases their fear and perhaps their intention to act with violence. Incidentally, today the RAP/NESARA blog is recommending that every homeowner acquire a DeWalt nail gun -- no permit required, and you can even carry them in public.

What kinds charge would result from assault with a nail gun? Would there be some kind of penalty for willfully inflicting torture during the assault??

Any particular reason they specify DeWALT? Don't get me wrong, I love my DeWALT drills and grinder, but my nailer happens to be a Pasload. Will that do? They don't say if the full round or clipped head nails are preferable. Do they have any suggestions on transporting the air compressor easily? What about the power supply? Or were these designed for rednecks sitting on their front porch with a beer in one hand and this thing in the other, plinking away at the neighborhood dogs?

Love the guy in the comments who apparently thought this thing was real.

Problem solved. :P

Portable Nail/Staple Gun Kit
No compressor needed, light & effective

Quote:
Most of us have either occasionally used a nail gun or seen one used on TV or on a job site. For fast, efficient construction and general repair work, they can't be beat. The pros rely on them and for good reason. But for the DIY'er, there are several impediments to adding them to your "tool kit." One, they tend to be expensive; Two, they are often big and heavy; and Three, they require access to and are tethered to an air compressor, which cannot be easily moved around, and to its air hose.
Some months ago, we came across a Portable Nail Gun at a commercial show and have been looking at it carefully ever since. It's a "light to medium duty" tool, but for the occasional DIY user, it seems near perfect. The nails and construction staples are driven not by compressed air but using a CO2 pressurized cartridge that you carry with you around the job hooked to your belt.
