HIRING OF THE WILLIAM J. OLSON LAW FIRM

Today, Article II Super PAC is pleased to announce that you, Article II PAC supporters, helped to secure the William J. Olson Law Firm of which constitutional expert Herb Titus is a partner. Mr. Titus has joined Article II Super PAC to assist us with our election work over the coming months.

Mr. Titus’ distinguished legal career began in 1962 when graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. Since 1962, Mr. Titus has taught law at five American Bar Association approved law schools with 30 of those years teaching constitutional law. He served as the foundingDean of both Regent University’s School of Law and School of Public Policy. Mr. Titus has written numerous publications, teaching materials and law reviews and is a much sought after public speaker.

By now, many of you have watched the two-part interview produced by American View titled “Natural Born Citizen?” where Mr. Titus instructs the audience on the history of and correct definition for the citizenship status known as ‘natural born Citizen’. Since 2008, citizens have led the battle fighting off the misinformation being spewed by those whose sole intent is to not only re-write constitutional law, but in particular redefine the intent behind the inclusion of ‘natural born Citizen’ under Article II of the U.S. Constitution. The citizens no longer have to go it alone. Article II Super PAC welcomes Mr. Titus and his 50 years of authorship, instruction and advocacy for constitutional law.

The San Diego County Bar Association rates each candidate based on factors such as legal qualifications and temperament. Candidates are given one of three ratings: “well qualified,” the highest; “qualified,” the middle ranking; and “lacking qualifications,” the lowest rating.

Gary Kreep, a private practice lawyer, also received the lowest mark and had similar complaints. He said his rating was because the bar is biased against his strong conservative Christian beliefs and the causes he advocates.

Kreep has been involved in the movement that questions the legitimacy of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, and he is against same-sex marriage.

“My being biased because of my religious and political beliefs is what they hit me with,” he said.

Except Herb Titus is not a partner in the firm. Per his firm bio, he is merely "of counsel" to the firm.

Which, in addition to the latter sentence above, further casts doubt as to whether the PAC has been joined in its efforts by the firm itself, or merely by Mr. Titus.

Noonan seems to have won the AIP presidental contest in California.

One of O'rly witnesses, John Sampson, retired for the customs service, is running for state senate in Colorado. The primary is 6/25 but it appears he is the only Rep. on the candidate list. I suppose he will be the Rep. candidate in the general as well.

The article (from 2007) also includes comments from fellow classmates, which aren't already on the Fogbow list.

And there's this, which I'm sure MissTickly would love to see: "Tourists at the beach would sometimes assume Obama was Hawaiian, and his grandfather "would come up beside them and whisper, with appropriate reverence, that I was the great-grandson of King Kamehameha," Obama recalled."
