Today at the Constitutional Convention Summit leading African American ministers Pastor Manning of New York and Pastor Broden of Dallas TX endorsed Dr. Orly Taitz for the US Senate.

Remind me, they're "leading" what, exactly?

Anyway, it's good to see Orly get two endorsements from black guys. That means she's not a racist.

Orly forgot to tell her constituents that she speaks Spanish:

(ORANGE COUNTY, CA) – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Emken, an accomplished businesswoman specializing in efficiency and cost-cutting, and nationally recognized advocate for autism research and treatment, today announced that the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of North Los Angeles has officially endorsed her campaign for U.S. Senate.

South Central, sure. East L.A., yep. The Valley, sure. But not North Los Angeles. I don't even know where that is. Maybe Stern can tell us.

Or, I suppose it could just mean "no black people," since South Central is known for its mostly black population?

More likely an attempt to distinguish themselves from East LA than anything else, IMO.

North LA is Pacoima, Sun Valley, up near Magic Mountain. Gang infested suburb vs. gang infested inner-city. It's on my avoid list.

North L.A. also extends out to Lancaster and other areas north and east which are still within the County of Los Angeles. Known for their crystal meth factories. And guns. Perfect FReep country. If only they were coherent enough to vote.

I monitored both stations from 7:00 to 7:25, the 7:05 spot didn't run from what I heard.

Time to add Dulcelina Tello to the RICO list.

Boy, are these people desperate! When they do this from that many areas, it is a coordinated effort, for sure!
Are the police even trying to help, Orly? Would they keep an eye out for this type of activity, in their respective areas? And would your supporters in these areas be able to help and keep an eye on their lawns? This is just Jr High nonsense."

I am sure that the Orange County Sheriff has organized a posse to track down the criminals who are stealing Orly's signs and is coordinating his efforts with Sheriff Joe and various pastors. I am sure the culprits will be caught and be transferred to Maricopa County for prosecution.

My state makes it illegal to post them in "rights of way" along the roadside, on utility/sign poles (any poles at all) and corners. The signs are meant for yards, not litter up the streets. No one here bitches about anyone pulling up signs in rights of way. In fact, this would make a good job for the litter gang from the county jail. In the early 60's they passed the no billboards law. Any billboards up to the enactment of the law were OK. You couldn't build any more (unless you were an Indian Reservation - then you have the super big gaudy color flashing wreck causing signs on the tribal/federal land.).

I think since 2002 or 2003, there has been a blackout on the expression "South Central." I was actually at the City Council meeting that day when it was discussed and the media has respected it about 98 percent. I find that pretty offensive. As if South Central is a smear.

Anyhow, there is a North Los Angeles, or at least it is alluded to on a freeway sign, near Lake Castaic. I don't think that's what this group refers to. Sounds like they don't want to say The Valley, lol.

Happy Memorial Day, from the today-only proud Valley Girl!

Edit: Oh, I just recalled. During the Valley Secession movement which I believe was voted on in 2003, many of us opponents thought it was pretty much a racist thing -- an attempt to separate us from the part of L.A. with Blacks. Secession passed in the Valley, by a hair; it failed in the City as a whole, or course. No wonder that group doesn't want to say Valley.

The 8:18 radio spot didn't run.

I had to listen to 30 minutes of Mark Larsen and Dennis Praeger, I'm gonna be brain dead for the rest of today.

I'd guess that Oily didn't pay for the ads upfront, so the ads won't run. Just a guess. Even obscure and insignificant radio stations expect to get paid.

Edit: Edit to add: However, Oily is listed as an advertiser on KCBQ's website (I don't see her listed among the advertisers on the KPRZ website. Theoretically, that would suggest that--if the ads run at all--they'll run on KCBQ.

Offtopic :
I HATE Dennis Prager -- The only two-time divorced SOB who doesn't even question giving out marriage advice. The most arrogant SOB alive. There is not a single dysfunctional event, person, issue that he doesn't ponder over, pontificate about its sources, lament its existence and then conclude that it is all the fault of the misguided liberals. So glad he got kicked off the huge KFI and is stuck on little stations.

When I was about 25, he was still an unknown and a resident-scholar at some synagogue and was the guest speaker at a Jewish women's lunch I attended with my sister-in-law and her mother. He got a standing ovation. I, however, remained sitting down. My sister-in-law who was completely enthralled with his right-wing support for Israel turned to me and said, 'You know he's divorced and available, and we can fix you up!" I thought I would barf. He was a complete belligerent about Israel even then. And so pompous. I had no idea he would go on to be even more horrible. Which he has. I was saved from an up-close-and-personal experience because of my good sense for a change.

To be fair to the California GOP, they have not consented to anything regarding Orly's candidacy. The primary election is a free-for-all. Political parties have no control over who is on the ballot or what political party any candidate designates. If the top two finishers in the primary are Feinstein and Taitz, I would guess that the CA GOP would choose not to endorse a candidate in the senate race.

True dat. I still think this open primary thing is nutz. But if it is Feinstein vs. Orly, Orly will be the face of the GOP in CA. Will Rmoney have to forgo campaigning in CA? MSNBC and prolly CNN will be on this race like white on rice. [-o<

Recently as many as 100 “Vote for Orly Taitz” signs were stolen. I known that they were not removed by the city hall, as the signs of my competitor a 70 year old RINO Conlon remained. Recently the GOP establishment started promoted him, as apparently Emken did not do that well and still 4% behind me in spite of the enormous boost given to her by the party. I suspect the GOP establishment being behind this disappearance of my signs.
Please help me patrol the areas of Mission Viejo, El Toro, Laguna Hills, Irvine, Aliso Viejo and others and catch and prosecute the thieves.

She must be going soft. Last year Taitz would have been insisting these people be executed for treason. Now she only wants to put them in prison (prison, not jail, which means a sentence of over 1 year) for removing a $3 sign, and add them to one of her many successful RICO prosecutions no doubt.

Of course, if someone were caught red-handed (re)moving a sign, it'd be her word against theirs. It's not like she could introduce evidence (much less properly and admissibly) that the signs were her property.

Accused thief: "Oh this? It's mine. I put it up here for a while, and now I'm going to put it up somewhere else. Strategery, doncha know."

I am looking forward to Orly receiving a bill from the county or state for the costs of their removing her signs from prohibited areas, such as Interstate shoulders.
