Reminds me of my younger son, who I used to call my "chunky monkey" at that age (but never to his face!). When he hit 13, he shot up 6 inches in height in less than 6 months and lost 20 pounds in that same period, without making any changes at all in his lifestyle. Well, other than discovering girls and starting to spend a lot of time in the shower.
