They make a liquid version that you can apply to areas around the nail -- I get horrible hangnails in the winter because gets so dry. I dab a little bit of the liquid around my nails and no more hangnails. I've tried the gel version and the creme and I found the liquid version works best for me. I love, love, love products that work better than I ever expected! Zim's is one of those products.
