I've given up keeping track of which birthers belong to which school of thought, but the "Obama Sr. was born in Kenya" is usually spouted by those who believe in the impossible interpretation of NBC*.

Tracy apparently served her new defendants. Don't know if it's proper service or not because I've not seen the returns yet, but her co-plaintiff has sued just about everyone, so she probably knows how to effect service of process.

Most of us gals would be flattered that you ask to verify that we are over age 18. You can see my voter registration card any time, provided I can remember where I left it ...

Because the word only exists in German and Dutch? Sorry, cannot add much to the German wikipedia article. Though I would think that the chances of it being a "Bargoens" word (coded jargon of thieves, smugglers and errant salesman, formerly spoken in Holland, Northern Germany and the Rhineland, containing lots of Yiddish and Hebrew words) are probably better than the article says. It is a word with purely negative connotations, after all. Though in recent years, in Dutch it tends to be used mainly of persons - you can be "kapot" because you are physically exhausted, or because you are emotionally down. Sounds like Orly, both ways.

I like the idea of kapoot rhyming with moot, actually.

And the fact that at Wikipedia people can write "with a straight face" that is perhaps of French origin. without alluding to a capote anglaise. Because when a capote anglaise gets kapoot, the "issue" that Shirley begets, is definitely not moot.

Which book is this? Amazon lets you search books by Barack Obama "Dreams..." & "Audacity". The words "Black Orchid" don't appear in either book. Other books by Obama? "Of Thee I Sing"? Nope. No "Black Orchid". "A Singular Woman" about Ann Dunham? Nope. Tracy dream that up while she was on the pipe?

Edit: The word "nanny" is not in either book either. Ann Dunham never lived in Chicago.

Oh here it is. page 123 of "Dreams". Summer of 1960 she worked in Chicago as an aupair. The movie was "Black Orpheus".

They have to make up their minds. They have an email from University of Hawaii that says she started there on 9/26/1960. She had a baby 8/4/1961. The most basic granny finger counting tells you she got pregnant after September. Two citizen parent has failed. So now they want to circle back and pick up the already debunked slurs about there being some doubt who his father is. Despicable.

Falsehoods unchallenged only fester and grow.
