The OC court has made recent changes that make the online info nearly indecipherable, but I do not think that Yosi has an attorney working on this case. I haven't paid for the pleadings, but it looks to me like he and the missus filed with the purported dentist taking on the legal work.

If that's the case, I'd think that might suggest that maybe things aren't as bad between them as is generally assumed - and that might explain why he hasn't done anything to put a stop to her birthering. I dunno - that's just speculation on my part, but I can't imagine that he'd let her handle his legal matters if he's just putting up with her until the kids are all out of the home or any of the other scenarios I've seen bandied about.. ::shrug::

So, in other words, they’re not doing anything but selling books and there’s no plan to do anything but sell more books as long as people are willing to buy them.

Things sure have been slow on your end, Orly. Hopefully, when you lose in Mississippi – and there’s no doubt that you’re going to lose big time – I can than write about how horrible an attorney you are. But what I’m really looking forward to is the day you’re disbarred and you can no longer included Esq after your name.

Obama’s attorneys should be disbarred

I have no doubt in my mind what so ever that Corsi's current actions are part of a very real effort from Farah, GOP dirty trickster Floyd Brown, and others on the far right to try and use the birther lies to "swift boat" Obama. (Bear in mind the fact that one of the reasons why the "swift boating" of Kerry worked has well as it did, other than the large amount of money poured into it, is that Kerry took the high road and tried to ignore it. The Democratic party learned that lesson though).
...
I also suspect very strongly that there's a concerted effort in the far right to amp up the rhetoric between now and November in hopes that they can inspire some nut job to try and assassinate the President.

And should Obama win a second term, I fully expect that there will be a flurry of State and Federal lawsuits starting the day after election day to try and stop the certification of Obamas votes or to try and block the electoral college. I also fully expect there will be a few Congresscritters - particularly tea baggers who may have lost their re-election bids - who will challenge the Electoral College certification in the House. It's too early to say if they'll find a senator to co-sponsor the challenge, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

Finally, I expect the rhetoric to get EVEN HIGHER once Obama is sworn into a second term. Because there's a lot of birthers who are dead certain that Obama will find an excuse to cancel the elections in 2016 - and more than a few of them will be calling for coups, armed uprising or assassination as a result.

It's nowhere near over yet.

Well said, and I totally agree. Birthers, like invasive Asian Carp, bindweeds and vermin, do not just go away.

We're going to need more FEMA camps after Jan 2017.......and more efficient ways to harvest all those thousands of detainees and process them into food products. The pace is still below Mr. Soros' directives.
And its too bad American meat consumers have rejected "pink slime"...imagine if they ever discovered what it really is......

I agree with Pat that the birther mess will keep going and going and going. However, no "lame duck" Congresscritters can be counting the Electoral votes and lodging objections, as it is done in the new Congress after January 3rd of 2013 (usually on January 6th, unless changed by law). She’ll probably declare Obama guilty as charged and demand that the Judge issue a warrant for his immediate arrest and frog marching or she will swear out a warrant for the Judge on the grounds of treason and have him thrown in the FEMA camp in (I think it was) Indiana that has the gas chambers capable of gassing 5000 people a day.

All that plus she's going to add the attorneys for the SoS and the GADP as defendants in MS, you know, so they can't be lawyers, and probably a new RICO suit naming all the "enemies" of the U.S., who are complicit in treasonous things (USDC?) and tell Mr. Begley to take his discovery request and request for a telephonic hearing and shove it (through a letter to Judge Coleman, of course).

No telling what she'll do tomorrow.

Well, maybe she'll sue Shurf Joe to compel him to get his ass into court and spill the beans (or as she puts it, confirm her ebidence and zibits0 on Obama so she can then have Obama frogmarched. Yeah, that's the way I'd go.

OMG!

Remember when Orly would always quote a yahoo poll to tell Judges that "87% of Americans" thought Obama's birth certificate was fake and that he wasn't a US citizen? Well, Orly is trying to understand internet polls again! This time, she is quite concerned. The polls are related to the CA Senate election.

Yet again I was defamed by one Dean Haskins, who was a directer of a cancelled (or indefinitely postponed) birther summit. He posted on my Facebook a remark accusing me of lying and made a statement that in a poll I need to add all of the groups. If I did not do that, it means I am lying. This is the most insane accusation. When there is a total: called “Public”, meaning public in general, you do not add to it separate groups, such as Republicans, Latinos and so on. The groups are already included.

I did contact Martin Wisckol, political editor of OC register and asked why the numbers do not mesh. I saw that some candidates had more voters in subgroups than in the total and that with every new vote “Public” or total would increase, while subgroups remained the same, which lead to my suspicion that the subgroups came from some other survey.

Mr. Wisckol admitted that indeed the subgroups came from another survey, from another group. Apparently OC Register has this control group of people, who signed up previously, while the “Public” is a real time vote, which is happening as people actually are reading the OC Register and vote.

I am still leading and I have nearly double the number of votes Senator Feinstein has.

I hope in the future OC Register would not publish these separate subgroups, which are not related to the actual vote now. This is important for a number of reasons:

1. people are taught by the society to conform to a group, so when OC Register shows those subgroups before people voted, it influences them. This is the reason, why election day exit polls were discontinued.

2. people have a right to know that this data came from a separate group.

3. lastly, predetermined group does not reflect the excitement factor. For example, in this primary Democrats have only one Presidential candidate and one major candidate for the Senate. There is no excitement factor over the election. Among the GOP and conservative voters there is excitement, as there are several candidates and more are expected to vote.

These polls stay open indefinitely, but nobody pays attention after a couple days.

In the group polls, you can only vote once. For the public poll, people may figure out how to vote more than once – but anybody with any sense knows the public poll is meaningless. :bwaha:

Any sign of the earth-shattering filing? I've assumed something for Mississippi, but she still has NH, IN, GA, DC, and Guam to harass. Or she could file her case directly with the International Court for Defenders of Human Rights. They meet tomorrow on Pitcairn Island.

This just in from the OC Register Poll, Emken has passed Ms Diane to take the lead in the poll. Orly sucks a very poor third while falling behind rapidly as Ms. Emken has mobilized her voters better than Orly. Voters are some fickle people. Emken with 36.4%, Feinstein with 35.3% (30 vote separation) whew, this is a close one.
As always the Mad Russian fell behind early after her FMs went to bed for their naps at 18.3%...

Looks like Orly is a loser again. The old Taitz KISS-O-DEATH....

O'rly doesn't know about the strong contrarian streak in American culture. Election day polls were not discontinued. The broadcasters have agreed to not report the results until after the polls have closed. It was the Carter/Bush I where it became clear that a lot of people stayed home in the West after the announcement was made that Carter had lost. That also has an effect on the other races on the ballot.

I did notice something interesting about the current Santorum poll and the pie charts. If you look at the Republican, Tea Party, and Conservative Christian sub-groups, you do see a lot of uniformity. The pie charts look a lot alike. However, the other sub-groups are diverse no matter how small the sub-group. This is not surprising and that uniformity has been a strength of the RW for some time. The left is proud of it inclusiveness and diversity, but it's much harder to please everyone or get anything close to a consensus.

The smallest sub-group is the Vietnamese and large numbers of them settled in OC and have become citizens along with the NBC children. I laughed at how diverse the group is even with so few in the group. In VN, there is a saying that if you have 3 Vietnamese in a group, you have 3 political parties. They are all contrarian when it comes to politics.

How many real lawyers here regularly blurt out "I have this case in the bag" months before the case goes to trial? How many of you call a press conference while the jury is still deliberating and boldly announce that you've trashed the opposition - it's only a matter of having the jury make it final? In which year of law school did they teach you that tactic? In which module does Dtaft Law School teach that to their students?

You might ask Ben Ginsberg, who was Norm Coleman's chief spin-lawyer (also known as a "hall lawyer") in his election contest against Al Franken a couple of years ago. Although there was a three-judge panel instead of a jury for that protracted case, Ben trashed the opposition and declared victory in each of his daily pressers for a period of months. For my money, not even Baghdad Bob did it better than good ol' Honest Ben.

(You may recall that he cut his teeth spinning Dubya's side of the Bush v Gore farce. Trouble was, Dubya did win -- not that it had anything to do with Benny's in-depth legal interpretations of hanging chad or butterfly ballots.)
