It is not at all surprising that Orly is profoundly misunderstanding the results of this poll (which is, of course, about as unscientific as a poll can be). In fact, she currently has about 15% of the responses. People who take the poll are asked to "join" one group (Republican, conservative Christian, latino, etc.). The group called "Public" seems to be for those who chose not to put themselves into any of the demographic/ideological groups listed. Among participants in the "public" group (100 respondents), Orly currently has 80% of the responses. However, among all groups (totaling 744 respondents), she only has about 15%.

Her narcissism has once again lead her wildly astray from reality.

There HAS been a surge in "Public" (ie not belonging to a group) votes.

She currently leads Feinstein 82 : 21 -- but that's ignoring all the
other groups (you can only belong to ONE -- so you can't be Tea-party
AND Republican.)

Adding ALL the groups, Feinstein currently leads 203 : 114

Oh, No, they dinn't! If you look at O'rly's link, it's to a new poll about Santorum's suspended campaign. They have a link to previous polls:

Click on the "Show Previous Polls" button, not the Blog link.

She's dropped to 55.4% of Public votes. And lost two more Republican votes to Feinstein.

You know, even if I knew NOTHING about Orly - and were inclined to vote Republican - that URL would tell me enough to know that I wouldn't want to vote for her. A candidate who puts up a website that has a name implying it's supposed to be a "draft" site is so arrogant and manipulative that I would just lose all respect for them.

Plus, it gets that old song from the 70's "Run, Joey, Run" stuck in my head and drives me nuts! :D

The poll is neither deleted nor inactive. Click on “See previous polls.” There’s simply a new poll up. As you can see from the previous polls, I launch a new poll every day or two. Santorum dropping out certainly merited a new poll. You can tell your peeps to keep voting for you if you want, but they’ll have to click on “See previous polls.”
Obviously, I’m not going to stop running new polls.

Funny about how the more she advertises for FM's to vote, the lower she goes in the polls. :D

She only has 55% of the public group of about 200 people who haven't sent in a sign up e-mail and chosen a subgroup.

Quote:

Your contact information will not be shared with others. You may be contacted from time to time to see if you would like to comment for a story related to a poll – and you may decline with no further questions asked. Or you can simply ask not to be contacted for this purpose. Otherwise, your name and phone number will be used only to verify that you are who you say you are, and your email address will only be used for emails related to Political Pulse.

Out of 859 total votes, she has 17% with 2/3rds of her votes from the public group.

This might be a sign that her actual supporters, who are willing to click a couple of links to get to the right poll and vote, are limited to few hundred people. She added ~100 votes in 6 hours on the public poll since she put the link on her site.

You must be new here :)

She takes these online polls as gospel. When she ran for SOS, she took the poll numbers, crunched them in against the population of the Solar System, and came up with 25 tri-billion people supported her.

Nope, check for previous polls and select 'senate' Apr 9. She is now receiving a tiny fraction of the total...

That's right, and the other 75 tri-billion people were stolen away from her by a black RINO fraud. (Damn Som'bitch)

That was two years ago and she's still trying to sue him to get a do-over.

Nobody is ever going to be able to convince Orly that she did not have 80% of the "votes" in that OC Register poll, much less convince her that the poll is meaningless. She will be crowing about this, and what she certainly will see as the OC Register's attempts to delete/modify the poll results, for the rest of the campaign.

What a moron.

And she is going to complain that the election surely must have been stolen when she fails to live up to her expectations... It would never occur to her that at the foundation of all her failures lies Orly Taitz herself.

I'll bet she includes her "80%" in today's "Nothing, like you've seen before." filings.

Yet again I was defamed by one Dean Haskins, who was a directer of a cancelled (or indefinitely postponed) birther summit. He posted on my Facebook a remark accusing me of lying and made a statement that in a poll I need to add all of the groups. If I did not do that, it means I am lying. This is the most insane accusation. When there is a total: called “Public”, meaning public in general, you do not add to it separate groups, such as Republicans, Latinos and so on. The groups are already included.

I did contact Martin Wisckol, political editor of OC register and asked why the numbers do not mesh. I saw that some candidates had more voters in subgroups than in the total and that with every new vote “Public” or total would increase, while subgroups remained the same, which lead to my suspicion that the subgroups came from some other survey.

etc etc
Good going Obly ... p*ss off the local press.

Edit : she sends her FM's : Please keep voting. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/poll-318237-voting-government which redirects to a 404 !!!!!!

Quote:
OC Political Pulse is an Orange County Register polling tool to gauge how different political factions and demographic groups feel about the political issues of the day. Participants are readers who sign up. They self-select which category they will vote in. While the polls are not scientific, they reflect the sentiment of and divisions within the various groups polled. There is also a general public poll component which is in no way scientific, and simply reflects the sentiments of those motivated to participate.

So, Dean (and many others, I imagine) points out to Orly that she's misunderstanding the poll and, instead of correcting herself, she doubles down on the stupidity.

Que sorpresa.
