Just came back from the Vet....got last shots for the year.

Fed a treat (raw chicken) for being such good kittens for the Vet.

Chester is 7 lb 6oz Stella is 8 lb 7oz.

It was just such a strenuous trip for the kittens.

SueDB, they are so cute! :xo I'm so glad you got both of them so they can comfort each other after the trauma of a vet visit!

got the Beastie Cat Collars here. Nice soft neoprene and velcro that is cut to fit

It has a reinforced metal circle to attach tags.

Not very expensive but kinda kewl as you can cut to size and no one really could tell much difference.

June Bug,
We are just having the time of our lives at 3 AM, 5AM, 7AM <SNICKER>

They are so nice and soft. EZ to cuddle. Chester has just a little meow, but he'll get bigger

We couldn't separate them when we picked them up. Ms SueDB wasn't too knocked out about 2 cats, however after seeing Stella, it was an ez sell. I wanted the Chester no matter what, almost - I hate to bust up a nice pair.

His meow might not get bigger. Toby, the one cat that stayed at my ex's house, is a big bright orange tough guy with the teensiest most pathetic mew ever ever. He'll bring you a snake proudly and then practically chirp instead of talking. It's ridiculous (and adorable.)

(Maggie, the elderly one we inherited, is a beautiful and graceful gray cat with a meow that sounds like Homer's sisters-in-law, whatever their names are.)

It's that time of year again when the little falcons hatch atop the tall cliffs of the city. Diamond Lil and Dapper Dan have done it again and 4 eyelets can be seen going through the stages of growing into full-fledged falcons.

Day two of some nasty intestinal thing. The usual remedies are not making it better fast enough. Unless he's way better in the morning, we will head to the vet.

I hope the vet can figure out what's wrong. And hopefully it's not too difficult/expensive to fix!
I know how hard it is when your furry babies are sick.

I hope he gets better soon! Please let us know.

We're heading to the vet shortly. I originally suspected indigestion, perhaps from eating a forbidden broadleaf plant. But Immodium has had no effect, and last night he transitioned from diarrhea to vomiting -- essentially sour water.

On the other hand, he is only slightly subdued -- he's bright-eyed, alert, and there's no abdominal distension. So from my amateur standpoint I'm suspecting a gastrointestinal foreign object (rawhide, maybe), and hoping whatever it is can be taken care of endoscopically, rather than surgically. But we'll know shortly -- I am pretty much pulling all of that speculation out of my, um, hat.

Just like kimba, he's sweet as sweet-potato pie. Virtual hugs welcomed.

Vet bills! one dog we had was a stubborn chow who, in spite of my hanging on to his collar for dear life, walked right up to a rattlesnake in our yard and stuck his face down for a bite on the cheek. That bill was huge.

Another dog, Chou, had his face and neck shredded by a raccoon and shortly after that blew out his left ACL. I didn't know they could do that! Expensive fixes, both'em..

I won't even tell you how much my 18 lb pug's private part swelled as a result of a filthy neuter job just before we got him. All the male vet techs would cringe at his name " oh, poor Xavier".

Good luck!

We're back with a very sad dog. X-rays show no blockage, but that's no guarantee. He's pumped full of fluid, antibiotic, and anti nausea medicine, and lots of instructions; now we watch and wait.

(Yes, so far we have spent an iPad's worth of money.)

I'm glad he's not having emergency surgery so far!

Glad to hear there looks to be no blockage. Hopefully it's a case of doggie food poisoning and he'll be back to normal in no time!

At least you know what it's not! I hope he's feeling better soon!

Vet bills! Ugh! I took mine in for a look at their big ears and we walked out with a 3/4 ipad bill. Ear cleaner, ear ointment, 6 months of Revolution for each, new RX dry food coz the vet thinks it's food sensitivity. Now they're sneezing their heads off. Pollen allergies too!

Take care of your little furry one.
