It certainly is. But if you watch the Daily Show clip, the School Board Member admits that the law was made for Mexican-American Studies only.

The interview (even if it is the Daily Show) is an embarrassment to the School Board and the Arizona Legislature. I wouldn't be surprised that guy resigns.

I think the NCAA should pull the validations of all the Colleges and Universities for not supporting the Equal Opportunity Program in Education. Suspending these schools would send a fairly LOUD message to the state Klan...err Tea Party Offices. Several other items - pull the airlines from the airport, cut the highway funds, Ensure all federal money goes to NM, CO, and CA.

Prohibit any business that does business in AZ to bid on Federal Contracts as long as the discriminatory laws and the heavy handed police methods continue.

You can always move a couple of Air Force/Army Bases out of state, or fuck it - just close them. Tucson would dry up along with Bisbee (Ft. Huachuca.)

Also the NFL and the NBA should boycott all games in Arizona. If it takes moving the team to accomplish that, there are plenty of cities LIKE LOS ANGELES that doesn't have an NFL team.

Mebbe the National Indian Gaming Commission or the tribe will take a larger interest and close the casinos to Arizona residents. Bring in junkets from all over, except Phoenix (that bus that goes to the Maricopa Casino from the Walmart and the Welfare office parking lots).

Mebbe it is time to re examine the Indian Treaty for forked tongued words that can be taken to Federal Court or at least re-examine the Compact by which the Tribe and the State co-exist.

I have heard of studies such as that. One study used underarm pads and let the other gals smell the chemicals. After a while they all sync up. Could be double, triple, etc trouble for 1 week out of the month.
