Anti-government 'sovereign movement' on the rise in U.S.

TRINIDAD, Texas – Gary Thomas will never forget the letter he received in early 2000. It was from John Joe Gray, a suspect in a felony assault case, offering a not-so-subtle warning to the area's chief criminal investigator: He had no intention of answering charges that he had attacked a state trooper.

"What he said was this: 'If y'all come to get me, bring body bags,' " said Thomas, now a local justice of the peace.

Thomas remembers the message clearly, not because of its unvarnished threat, but because — after 12 years — Gray, who doesn't acknowledge the authority of any government, continues to dare police to come and get him.

Sequestered on a 50-acre, wooded compound in East Texas since jumping bail more than a decade ago, Gray and his clan have effectively outlasted the administrations of four local sheriffs, all of whom have decided that John Joe's arrest is not worth the risk of a violent confrontation.

Sadly for me, this is in the county that has been home to my family for over 150 years. The whole area has just became a place where people go to hide out. Think a couple of thousand Ed Hales and Lone Star 1776s ... and that may be an understatement.

Anywhere close to where Warren Jeffs moved his FLDS headquarters prison a few years back so they could escape the pressure of Arizona and Utah's attorneys general rape little girls?

Nope, Jeffs squatted further west, but child molestation and sexual assaults of all kinds were (and still are) huge problems in my part of Texas. The majority of students I worked with in my SED program were victims. Texas CPS is practically worthless - underfunded, poorly staffed and totally demoralized by their caseload.

This is really not straying too far off-topic, since many SovCits have problems raising children.

Can you imagine a "country" where everyone is a SovCit? Do the SovCits hunt in packs, like dogs? They can't depend on their fellow man, since there would be a every man for himself attitude. No cars. No communication devices. No public services of any kind. As bullets age and become worthless, guns would be useless. I can see it now - back to the cave man era.

This has some of the paranoia and mumbo-jumbo of the Sovereign Citizens, but SovCits file their liens in real courts. This set of liens appears to have been filed with a Higher Power.

Divine Cosmos April 13, 2012 MAJOR EVENT: Liens Filed Against All 12 Federal Reserve Banks

The next major milestone for Mass Arrests of the cabal has now arrived. Liens have now been filed against all twelve Federal Reserve banks. A Cease and Desist Order has also been filed -- to prevent the world's wealth from continuing to be stolen.

Let's be clear, again, that this is NOT a coup, NOT martial law, and NOT a takeover of the government in any way.
...
US marshals from the Department of Justice and peace officers will carry out the arrests, with the assistance of military personnel -- in the event of any unforeseen disturbances.

By assisting a legal civilian operation in this manner, the military personnel are following their Oath of Enlistment -- to protect and defend the US Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Earlier in this thread there was mention of ex-Sheriff Richard Mack running in the Republican primary in TX Congressional District 21 against incumbent Lamar Smith. Well, here are the results and the Shurf didn't fare so well:

Quote:
U.S. House - District 21 - GOP Primary
May 30, 2012 - 10:10PM ET
Texas - 279 of 279 Precincts Reporting - 100%
Max Runoff Cands=2
Name Party Votes Vote %
Smith , Lamar (i) GOP 52,383 77%
Mack , Richard GOP 10,104 15%
Morgan , Richard GOP 5,866 9%

After losing elections in Utah and Arizona, Mack moved to Texas a couple of years ago for the sole purpose of seeking political office. Lesson learned: Texans haven't been too fond of carpetbaggers since Reconstruction (but I'd be willing to bet we haven't heard the last of him ... after all, he's still got a Paypal button).

Alfred Adask was one of the attendees / speakers at Rudy Davis' little birtherpoolza.

And I caught this on his blog

http://adask.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/c ... ns-summit/

Quote:
"About Adask
I am a man made in our Father YHWH ha Elohiym's image (Genesis 1:26-28) and endowed by my Creator with certain unalienable Rights ("The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America"; July 4th, A.D. 1776). I am a sovereign Dei gratia. I act at all times "at arm's length" unless I've otherwise and expressly agreed in writing. I am one of the People of The State of Texas. My articles are currently written and published within the venue of The County of Dallas, located within The State of Texas--a member-State of the perpetual Union styled "The United States of America".

Birthers and sovereigns and loons, oh my.

Sovereign citizen claim fails in court

Quote:
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL -

No license, no registration... No Social Security Number?

A woman convicted of traffic violations this week in Charlotte County has none of the above; she's what law enforcement considers a Sovereign Citizen.

[...]

Corin says Louise wasn't driving that night, by their definition. Instead, they both say Louise was "traveling," something they believe doesn't require a license.

"It's basically a question of terminology. Driving versus traveling," Corin said.

"That is Sovereign Citizen 101," FBI Special Agent Michael McPherson said.

It reminds me of an argument I had with a birther once. He told me that since the Constitution says that one must be a Natural Born Citizen in order to be President, and BHO is not one, ergo Obama is not actually the President.

I told him that that could make a great criminal defense for someone caught driving without a license. After all, I explained, the law says one must have a license in order to drive. Since I don't have a license, I must not actually be driving.

Yeah, but that (if I read it properly) is all about our alien overlords saving us from ourselves - more Stargate than Sovereign.

Holy Crazeballs!
Quote:
The Republican candidate for a state Senate seat in eastern Iowa has ended her campaign and instead declared herself a U.S. Senator for the state of Iowa.

In a letter dated July 4, the candidate, Randi Shannon of Coralville, argued that the legitimate federal government of the United States was replaced by illegitimate “corporate” government in 1871 and has been operating since then in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

She learned this fact just recently, she said, and has come to believe it after months of research.

Well....................
This explains a bunch (from the link)
Quote:
By serving as your Senator in The Republic Congress, I am restrained to voting in line with Our Republic for The United States Constitution, which by the way does not contain the 14 th Amendment or any thereafter as these are the product of “The De facto” UNITED STATES CORPORATION, and have no basis in Our Constitution. Therefore, “they are Their Problems” and when you join The Republic of The United States of America, they are no longer your problems! And as your Senator, I Proclaim here today that I am determined that “Their Problems” will never again become your problems in The Republic! Again, Remember, where the de jure Republic of The United States of America exists the de facto UNITED STATES CORPORATION, having no standing, must go away!

14th Amendment
15th Amendment

So, these folks are wishing all the colored folks to go away, "peacefully".
They're not racists, they just want to take away all of the rights of people who aren't like themselves.
It does make me wonder what their 4th of July celebrations will be like in the future.

:torches:

But why settle for Senator? If all you have to do is declare yourself in an office to hold it, why not declare herself Emperor of the Moon?

One of the "Related Nutz" that I have just added to this thread is a seditionist who calls himself "Drake." While I have always believed that he is actually referring to a male duck, he has other opinions of himself. He is not the singer Drake. He is a noble man working the corridors of power on behalf of We the Peeple, periodically emerging just in the nick of time to provide Warnings and New Information. Or so he asserts.

Today on BlogTalkRadio he and his colleague in sedition, Minuteman, were talking about that terrible treaty that on July 27, 2012, will ban guns at the order of the United Nations, "NRA, Bob Barr and others backing fantasy 'Global Ban on Guns'".

The moderator, the most highly regarded conspiracy theorist Lady Dragon, had elicited a recommendation from "Drake" about what to do with the Bohemian Grove. His recommendation was truncated by the censorship that has just occurred at BTR, BLOG TALK RADIO SHUTS DOWN THE RADIO SHOW OF DRAKE:
Quote:
We are at the point where everyone needs to take the Patriotic Stand they say they believe in.
Contacting County Sheriff, F.B.I., State Sheriff, and ALL other Law Enforcement Personnel.
The idea is to form into a single unit to effect the arrests.
Do so in a lawful/legal manner.
Enough talking and some direct action is called for.
The fact that our show was cut off should be proof that the bad guys do NOT want any of this to happen.
I offer that ALL take action as quickly as possible.

He neglects to mention what "a single unit to effect the arrests" means:
Quote:
Drake and Minuteman are calling for everyone including citizens to start arresting everyone that want to remove your rights, your freedom and guns.

After Drake was shut off by the NWO, Lady Dragon continued talking about the current news.

Why they are so convinced that BTR did it since Lady Dragon continued talking about current news? Could it be that sedition stinks to high heaven even to some conspiracy theorists? Of course, the news release announcing the censorship comes from Lady Dragon.

OK, will do. If one of you maggots tries to arrest me, my patriotic stand will straddle your face and gonads. If that doesn't work, there's always the 2nd Amendment.

You do believe in a right of self-defense, right?

Offtopic :
On a lighter note, Tollie's reference to Lady Dragon made me think of this gem of original hospital humor, h/t to my sister: There's a night nurse who is apparently not too gentle when sis needs help with the potty chair. She refers to this particular Florence Nightinfail as "the Comodal Dragon". :D
