I is confuzzled per usual. I went to vote today. E voila, there were no electronic voting machines. I also was not asked for any ID. Guess the voter fraud lies exclusively within that province known as- Du Page County. :-$ Don't tell Sharon.

Well, today was to be Sharon's big day, finding dead voters putting ballots into unlocked boxes.

She must have found a lot of them because she's apparently been too busy to even twitter much. But this one this morning stands out:

Quote:
Defend the Vote ‏ @DefendtheVote

Urgent Intervention in Cook County Elections Requested #phnm #tco #ILDNC #ILGOP http://eepurl.com/kbGRb

https://twitter.com/#!/DefendtheVote/st ... 6109018112

The link goes to a letter she set to Patrick Fitzgerald and some other prosecutors. Interesting because now she needs Pat's help, but boy did she hate him when he was prosecuting Scooter Libby.

Anyway, he'll probably never see it, she got his email address wrong, Fitz is a US Atty, not a State's atty.

They're unlawfully conducting elections today?

What law prevents them from conducting elections today? I thought this was the day for the primary.

I guess the sky is falling. Again. And this time she saw 20 zombies voting. If she wants to correct voter fraud, she needs to go to Du Page County. The only reported glitch today in the whole state involved some ballots that were cut too large to fit into the ballot machine.

The twit tweeted numerous times since last week Cook County election was going to be audited. Then they found irregularities. Now she's screeching like a banshee after a bad St Patrick's day hangover. She even tweeted Rushbo.

Can the state levy some financial sanctions against her for all this nonsense?

We are perplexed. We are experienced Illinois election judges. If what she claims is true, and we're fairly certain it's not, then every single voting precinct in Illinois violated her law. I hope the Board socks it to her big time. Sanctions please Illinois. Meroni's nuttery spreads like a spore-filled fungus on our system. And as you know that is nearly impossible to do in Illinois.

Written long before yesterday and no examples of when and where these "violations" happened during yesterday's election. A shopping list handed out at Defend the Vote "training"? I bet "state's attorney" Fitzgerald will be right on it.

Actually Fitzgerald is the federal prosecutor who prosecuted Blago, Ryan, and Scooter Libby. But I do agree he'll get right on it. She really likes to puff herself up doesn't she? ;)

Sharon will be bizzy, bizzy tomorrow:

Quote:
I am really beyond excited at the opportunity to go to the meeting at the Illinois Senate Executive Subcommittee tomorrow to testify about the lack of verification of citizenship for anyone on the ballot. Not only do we not check before they get on the ballot, but we cannot ask once they are placed on the ballot... or so Illinois State Board of Elections says...

Senator Dan Duffy, conservative Senator from the Illinois 26th Senate District has introduced a Bill to require the posting of proof of Citizenship in the Count Clerk's office for all candidates to qualify for placement on the Illinois Ballot.

Tomorrow, I will testify to just how difficult it is to discern citizenship in Illinois for candidates running for office.

I sure hope she tells them what she wrote:

Quote:
60. With little security in the voter registration system, the petitioners’ right to object to voters at the polling place is infringed and sets up voter to voter prejudices because of a lack of uniformity in the registration process and because there is no redress for the petitioner to safe guard [sic] her right to a free and equal election, except to look at external factors such as ethnicity or language and object accordingly.

Quote:
143. The petitoner cannot ascertain if someone is constitutionally eligible to be on the ballot except to look at things such as accents, or ethnicity.

How are we supposed to know if they aren't white and don't speak with a midwest accent? duh. #-o

And I sure hope she brings one of her "Luck of the Draw" Worksheets.

Oj... Another sleeper. Might be a great cure for insomnia. ;) Suppose she'll trug in the zombies she caught in her butterfly net? \:D/ Mimi didn't she originally file a complaint against Dan Duffy which she summarily dropped? Curiously, he's now co-sponsor of this bill. Was he politically blackmailed?

It's not 100% certain she's gonna testify. In this post she is begging for a ride.
http://eepurl.com/ke8Fn

And the bill is flawed, requiring a birth certificate in the county clerk's office. That means every state wide candidate would need how many copies, one for each county.

Yes. I know. He's seems to have gone full baud birther. I've known him for years. He was my state senator. I never realized what a stupid embarrassment he is. I'm trying to recall if Meroni had a ballot challenge going against him too. I think she did, but she dropped it.

I don't remember what all that was about. I see this on her site.

Quote:

Meroni v. Illinois State Board of Elections, is a constitutional challenge to the Illinois Election Code and its lack of any reasonable proof of citizenship for candidates, while Illinois law effectively blocks any citizen from conducting an investigation. The argument is that the combined effect of the laws is to create a constitutional deprivation under the Illinois State Constitution, which provides an expansive view of the guaranteed “right to vote,” which includes the right to challenge candidates.

Our challenge in the Cook County Circuit Court moves to a new phase today. The three Defendants, the ISBE (represented by the Attorney General), Dan Duffy (lawyer Matthew Welch ), and Amanda Howland (lawyer Michael Kasper) will respond to our petition. We will update you with copies of the pleadings as soon as possible.

Steve Boulton will write a response to these pleadings, and we will be in Court on Thursday, February 12th for the hearing.

"Amends the Election Code.
