No legal help offered so far. I found out it is $395 to file. I am willing to put up the bucks. But desperately need a bitty help to polish it and get the filing ready. If you are a lawyer and want to see it so far, send me a PM and I will share. A little reluctant to share until it is in the mail, otherwise.

She truly has no idea how bad she is at lawyering. This video should be sealed, not sold.

She's not good at anything she does. Too bad she has been gifted with enough ego to distribute to 100 people. At least she let her realtor's license lapse. She needs to do the same with her law and dental licenses.

Taitz thinks it's all about getting the smear out and defecated on eyeballs everywhere. But she is so self unaware that she doesn't realize the video discredits her and her ridiculous theories as well as demonstrating what a total incompetent she is.

Taitz is proud of this effort not because she was competent in doing or proving anything, but because she believes the smears have been preserved for posterity. She's convinced herself, and that's all that counts.

Perhaps O'rly should sue CNN, demanding their endorsement in exchange for their use of her likeness.

I have it on excellent authority that she did, indeed, properly submit her name to be considered for the endorsement. Pigs and truffles and all that. (Please don't start that threadjack again ...)

So, who DID they endorse? Surely, Mr.Good Authority or Mr. Excellent Authority must have the answers.

Any party should be thrilled to endorse her.

Halfway to Concord: California Politics, Contra Costa and East Bay News March 9, 2012 Top Republicans challenge California GOP candidate endorsement proposal
Quote:
California’s top elected Republican officials—including Congressional Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, Republican Senate Leader Bob Dutton, and Connie Conway, Republican Assembly leader—have issued a challenge to the CA-GOP leadership proposal to change party rules concerning candidate endorsements. Couched as a response to Proposition 14, the proposed rule changes, forwarded by Ron Nehring, essentially will give the CA-GOP leadership clique, through their sycophants that control many central committees, the sole power to declare candidates with “endorsement” and Republican party resources, even against another Republican. The cleansing begins.
...
Please remember who’s been running the party during the demise of the GOP in California. Who worked to kick the Tea Party people OUT of their Central Committees in Alameda, Contra Costa, and elsewhere? Then, when they could hear the Ka-Ching and call of glory, like at the Alameda Tea Party rally last Summer, who could be seen pushing their way to the front of the crowd to be on camera?

In the parlance of HBO’s, Boardwalk Empire, let’s just say an understanding had been reached.

With the party convention later in March, circling the GOP wagon around this support group for losers and flim-flam illustrates just how precarious the future of the Republican Party in California truly is. And accepting their self-serving recipe for candidate endorsement is just plain nuts.

No shit? Hard to imagine Oily doing anything "properly" that involves filling out a form. And, do you know, did she also pay the $500 fee to the CRP?

There's the form. Pretty simple to fill out. Does everyone who sends in their $500 get an endorsement? Did anyone with greater name recognition than O'rly's make the 3/9 deadline? I guess we'll find out in the coming week.

I find it hard to believe that Orly filled out that form correctly the first time. It asks for the date. That one usually trips her up. Perhaps they gave her a do-over.

I don't think that would have helped. By the time the do-over came around, the date would have changed.

Elizabeth Emken-another Washington lobbyist is seeking CA GOP board endorsement
Jean Ector wrote:
Before I go on, I must state that I believe autism is a devastating disorder; I commend Ms. Emken for fighting for her son. It isn’t surprising that she fought for her child. What was shocking was that she would blatantly lie to Republican voters like me about herself in her campaign.

When I discovered the facts about Ms. Emken I couldn’t help but wonder if she was the second coming of Barack Obama… a flip-flopper say-one-thing and do-another politician.

Here’s what I learned:

Ms. Emken was listed as Autism Speaks leading Lobbyist in the years 2008 and 2009. In 2008 Autism Speaks was spending $280,000.00 annually on lobbying. The very next year (2009) under Emken’s direction, Autism Speaks hiked their lobbying to $740,000.00. In 2008 Emken collected a tidy $143,276.00 in compensation from the organization and earned another $8,210.00 of estimated compensation from related organizations. In 2009, Emken took home $152,120.00 in reported income and another $5,444.00 in compensation from other organizations.[1] According to OpenSecrets, Emken was Autism Speaks top Lobbyist in 2008 and 2009.

I’m not concerned as much that Ms. Emken was a Lobbyist fighting for legislation to help her son and others suffering from autism. But it is disconcerting that she has lied about it and it’s very troubling, even hypocritical, when Ms. Emken tells me she believes in free market principles and that government run health care is not the solution as she asserted in the Flash Report in 2010 proclaiming, “’We can provide a free market solution to health care and ensure the greatest medical system in the world continues to thrive. I will fight for that, just as I have for the last 13 years. Unlike Nancy Pelosi and Jerry McNerney I understand government run health care is not the solution.” Though this is a powerful sound-bite for unknowing Republican voters, the real truth can be seen in her actions as a professional Lobbyist.

During her time at Autism Speaks, Emken successfully forced private insurance companies to “provide coverage of evidence-based, medically necessary treatments including behavioral therapies…” in 15 states. (Here’s a link to see more about the specifics of autism speaks legislation.)

I ask, Isn’t forcing private insurance companies to provide certain services through a legislative mandate completely contradictory to the idea of “a free market solution to health care” philosophy as Ms. Emken claims she advocates?
