She might work but she won't accomplish anything. O'rly is too clueless to know how to effectively work any bill through the Senate.

Dr. Taitz' main primary opponent is Elizabeth Emken. What has she accomplished? She's an advocate for the special needs of Autism. That's it. If she becomes U.S. Senator, she will work for more spending for Autism, SSI, Medi-Cal and more social entitlements. This will mean more taxes to pay for these expenses. Already many corporations are leaving CA to move to business-friendly states. And when corporations leave, there will be more unemployment in CA. Elizabeth Emken should join the Democrat Party. They have the same socialist agenda. -- Chito Papa

Yep, there's a Reethug candidate for ya..

I was going to vote for Feinstein, but now I'm not sure.

If Emken could do even half of what Orly says, she must be one hell of a politician. Just think, as a rookie United States senator, Orly says Emken will have the power to change the State of California's MediCal program, and will even manage to pass Federal legislation that would change the business climate in the State of California without affecting other states.

Yes, but vic, Orly Taitz will do MORE! Among other things she'll get the Usurpador out of office.

I am not sure how this is going to play out, but I think if there is a chance to help Emken get second, I could go for that, knowing Dianne will be a shoo in, anyhow. That said, I am sure that the more successful Emken becomes, the more likely Orly will file suit against her for something. Anyone want to bet a dollar on that one?

I thought there had to be some sort of odds, however small, before you could make a bet of it.

The CA GOP has been warned about Lady Liberty and her chances of becoming the face of the GOP in the General Election. They will find someone with name recognition to run and throw some money his way. They would need someone like Abel Maldonado who announced a run for Congress or a Republican who is getting termed out or redistricted out of a safe seat.

It's too early to start figuring this out. We need to see the final full slate.

Then she will get to sue the Cal GOP for putting up someone at the last second for a spot on the ballot that was reserved for Orly Taitz, you know the mememememememe spot.

Fraud for certain. The position was promised to Taitz after her wonderful performance in the Secretary of State race. And she would be such a good standardbearer for the Republican Party.

Problem is, after she files her case it will be assigned to a corrupt, traitorous, spineless judge. Probably a Democratic appointee. But if a Republican appointee still an official apparatchik.

It could be David Dryer who is not going to run for relection of his long held congressional seat. There is not much time left though. I think it would be funny watching prominant Repbublicans trying to distance themselves from the Republican Senate candidate (if it is Orly) from the most populous state in the US

I honestly can't think of much of a downside to Orly Taitz being Feinstein's opponent in the fall, at least not to Democrats. She will spend all of her time fighting other Republicans who won't endorse her or campaign with her. Despite the fact that they will be running away from her, she will still be the defining wingnut figure for the Republicans, the one that Romney, Boehner, Priebus and all Republicans will have to repudiate without offending other wingnuts. Hopefully the media will push each of them to take a public stand on birferism.

Plus, in the delusional belief that she actually has a chance to win, she'll spend a ton of her own money on her campaign. Maybe she will spend enough that her family will finally try to put a stop to her nonsense. And Sen. Feinstein herself will never publicly acknowledge her. Orly's fantasy of debating Feinstein will not be realized.

As a Democrat, and someone who does not live in CA, I want Orly to be on the ballot in the fall. :-bd

Here's to hoping that this ambitious undertaking does break her.

I am not a career politician. I am a businesswoman, a licensed attorney and a licensed doctor of Dental Surgery[*], a wife and a mother. For 25 years my husband and I have raised our 3 sons in California. I am running, because I want young people of the Golden state to have the opportunities that we had in Reagan Golden era.

As long as the same career politicians continue representing us, we will continue losing American jobs and gaining American debts. My 3 main goals: jobs, jobs, jobs. I will seek 5 years moratorium on taxation on any company repatriating to US and companies creating new American jobs. For every dollar in tax revenues on newly created jobs for the U.S. citizens, there will be a dollar in taxation credit for the companies. No more crushing debt on our children, no more regulations killing American jobs.

As an attorney I showed courage in fighting for your Constitutional rights. Recently a judge upheld my subpoena for Barack Obama to appear at trial and provide his identification papers. You deserve the truth, respect and answers:why Barack Obama is using a Connecticut Social Security number, which was never assigned to him according to E-verify, why his alleged copy of a birth certificate is deemed to be a computer generated forgery, why his school records show him as an Indonesian citizen and many others. If you want your government accountable to you, vote Orly Taitz!

That's a wonderfully helpful candidate statement. Those who have heard the name Orly Taitz, but are unsure exactly where, may read the statement and say: "Oh yes, the lunatic birther who is making a damn fool of herself all over the country!"

I hope the statement is read by every potential voter.

She does some of these things better than others. Attorney? YGBSM. Licensed doctor(sic) of Dental Surgery? I've heard stories that make me skeptical. Wife? I'll defer that question to Yosi and CELIII. Mother? Probably.

This is the 2nd time I've seen Oily invoke the "golden era" of Ronald Reagan (the last time, clearly referencing his tenure as the governor of California, and seeming to do so again, here).

However, I am perplexed by how Oily would have any idea (other than through some historical texts or rose-glasses-shaded anecdotal reports) about the "opportunities" available to Californians when Ronald Reagan was governor. Reagan held the California governor's office from 1967 to 1975; he was the President from 1/20/81 to 1/20/89. By her own account, Oily immigrated to the U.S. in May 1987...12 years after Reagan had left the California governor's office (Deukmejian was governor when she immigrated to California), and less than two years prior to the end of Reagan's presidency.

But I suppose she imagines that California voters won't do the math...she would be wrong about that, of course. Too bad it's too late to edit the ballot statement. 8-)

Why would anyone donate an ad in the Washington Times? It won't reach any California voters.

(Or is this an attempt to explain how the path to a majority in the Senate goes through California?)
