A suspicious package? Tell Rush to grip it firmly between his knees.

Gee. Here I was gonna suggest Sandra Fluke sue his ass for gross slander and defamation. He called her a prostitute on air today.

I hope the "suspicious package" was strapped to his toilet. The thought of a quivering sweaty shit stain sitting on the can with his pants around his ankles (a la Danny Glover) just makes me smile.

He's a pompous, yet influential, ass and deserves whatever early and abrupt end doG believes appropriate.

If he believes in God and religion, he best ponder what happened to Breitbart this morning.

Not a death threat

Palm Beach police spokesman Fred Hess said the 18-by-18-inch package was delivered late in the afternoon and was X-rayed, as is all mail sent to the Limbaugh home. When Limbaugh’s staff saw what appeared to be wires in the package through the X-ray, they called police. “In Palm Beach, people tend to be very cautious, especially an internationally known person,” Hess said.

The package was mailed by a man in the Wexford suburb of Pittsburgh, Pa., as a “business opportunity” for Limbaugh, Hess said. The man was not immediately identified, but when authorities called him he apologized, Hess said.

The package contained an electronic plaque commemorating the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth, authorities said. No further details about the plaque were immediately available, and Limbaugh sent word through his property manager that the news media would not be allowed to photograph the package. Limbaugh and his wife, Kathryn, were at home throughout the incident.

Fixed that for you unless we know for certain that Kathryn is pregnant.

If the package were delivered to the Limbaugh home and if all packages so delivered are X-rayed, does this mean that Limbaugh has an X-ray scanner in his home? That says something about Limbaugh and the life that he has chosen to lead.

Why would anyone consider an electronic plaque comemorating the assasination of Abraham Lincoln a viable buisness opportunity?

I wonder why 'business opportunity' is in quotes. Might have been a threat. Hard to know.

There's something seriously wrong with a portion of our population if this ball of snot get $400 million over eight years.

Wait, which Obot had the Meat Truck route in the Limbaugh neighborhood this week? This could just be some poor little lamb chops that have lost their way.

It is disgusting to imagine, but there probably is a group of people who would want to celebrate Lincoln's assassination. Stormfront would not be alone. I have no idea whether Limbaugh would be among them.

See Lew Rockwell's King Lincoln Archive.

As it turns out, the suspicious package was not a bomb. It was an electronic plaque commemorating John Wilkes Booth’s assassination of Abraham Lincoln. According to The Palm Beach Post, authorities quickly tracked down the sender who apologized for the confusion. He was apparently just trying to forward Limbaugh a business opportunity and had no idea it would cause such a stink.

It seems police are taking the man’s word for it too because they’ve decided not to release his name. Considering what the package turned out to be, that seems about right. Now and again, crazies send along letters to famous people filled with white powder to scare them into thinking they were poisoned. I’m not legal expert, but I’m sure that behavior could be construed as a threat. This fiasco, on the other hand, seems more like a stupid, innocent mistake than anything else.

Here’s to hoping Limbaugh doesn’t another scary business proposition anytime in the near future.

Quote:
The suspect package turned out to be an electronic plaque having something to do with Abraham Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth (that's all the detail available on that, sorry), which was sent to Limbaugh by a fan in Pennsylvania for business-opportunity-related purposes, according to Palm Beach Police spokesman Fred Hess.

No charges will be filed against the sender—who was very apologetic, Hess said—because no crime was committed.

Whether or not Limbaugh wants anything to do with the package, which was deemed safe to open, is up to him.

It doesn't sound like it was a threat to Limbaugh.

And that should scare him even more than if it was. These are his fans. Lunatics.

Limbaugh doesn't care who listens to his show as long as they listen and pay his salery.

I suppose that Ms. Fluke would know whether or not she has a slander case against Limbaugh. I suppose she would either pursue it or not, based on how strong her case would be, and whether or not she wants to bother with the asshat.

Losing advertisers.

Also President Obama called her, nice.

The Nation:

Quote:
The following statement was signed by more than 250 members of the faculty of Georgetown University Law Center.

The undersigned faculty members, administrators and students of Georgetown University Law Center and other law schools strongly condemn the recent personal attacks on our student, Sandra Fluke. Ms. Fluke has had the courage to publicly defend and advocate for her beliefs about an important issue of widespread concern. She has done so with passion and intelligence. And she has been rewarded with the basest sort of name-calling and vilification, words that aim only to belittle and intimidate. As scholars and teachers who aim to train public-spirited lawyers, no matter what their politics, to engage intelligently and meaningfully with the world, we abhor these attacks on Ms. Fluke and applaud her strength and grace in the face of them.
