Orly sends campaign emails.... to Diane Feinstein.

Still using the CNN graphic, but Frito Potato must have cropped it a bit.

I am just in awe of that sentence. 76 words, a dozen separate thoughts, 8 commas. The achievement is awe-inspiring. If this were the beginning of a novel, it would be Bulwer-Lytton-worthy. You just know a whole lotta crazy would follow that sentence.

:wenotworthy:

Has Orly posted her candidate statement? If she has, I missed it. My guess is that it will include words like Obamagate, fraud, ineligible or words to that affect.

Why would she send that email (with the glaring error of "crony's") to the incumbent? Is she completely off her trolley?

The Sane Republicans* will split too. O'rly seems to forget that they still make up a majority of that Party.

If you interpret each comma as a SOB, or a gasp for breath, it's eminently readable.

Never mind. Seems I did not understand how California's new process works. Given that Orly will not even be one of the top candidates, I can't say I'm worried she might have a shot.

California now has an open primary, where everyone runs against everyone else, and the top two votegetters (of any party) face off in the general. So conceivably, some races could have two Democrats in the general, or two Republicans.

She's saying that this guy will draw off enough votes from Feinstein that she will be in the top two.

No, Orly, I don't think so. You really think that it will only be a 3-way race??

The link says the guy is running against Feinstein in the democratic primary. Exactly how does the democratic vote being split in a primary improve Orly's chances against Senator Diane Feinstein? She clearly has no understanding of how senatorial elections work in the United States, which matches her lack of understanding regarding just about everything else. She certainly has a lot of self-confidence, doesn't she, acting as though she has the republican nomination sewn up... 8>

Actually (I can't believe I'm saying this), in this instance Orly is a little bit right . California has now gone to a non-partisan primary for all except Presidential tickets. The top two vote-getters, regardless of party affiliation, face off in the general election. It still won't help Orly though...nothing will help Orly.

Nothing for you to feel silly about, CatMe. Ducktape and I were just letting you know that California changed their rules. No snark intended - I just thought it was funny that for once Orly actually had something within a football field's distance of being right.

 Actually, I'm the one who should feel silly - I had an interruption while posting and should have read Ducktape's intervening post before finishing mine up.

So when is the Republican Party going to check Orly's BC and of utmost importance Naturalization Paperwork???

Isn't it up to the party in California to "vet" their candydates. :?: :?: :?:

The reason Orly posted the link, IMO, is that this little known publication implies she is the prominent Republican opponent. Just another case of, oh surprise -- me, me, and MORE ME for Orly.

You have inspired me. Methinks I am going to torment Orly on twitter this evening asking "where are your papers?" Hey I am going to be watching the CNN debate, gotta do something to keep me amused.

I don't know if anyone knows how well, or badly, our new open primary will work, but I gaurontee* Orly will not be a winner, and further, that she doesn't understand the rules.

Or worse. I live in the new 30th Congressional District. Berman v. Sherman, a Democratic bloodbath for not just the Primary but straight through to November as we are so heavily weighted with Dem voters it is almost 100 percent certain that the two candidates with the most votes will be these two incumbents now facing each other. The ugly, ugly mail has already started flowing in. A whole forest will be sacrificed while they duke it out.

Brad Sherman's heart is in the right place, but he's a buffoon. Howard Berman is a classic liberal Democrat who is also very smart. Barbara Boxer has endorsed Berman. I don't think you'll find many high profile Dems endorsing Sherman.

Orly's being vetted by her party:

Quote:
Dr. Taitz and the Rally for Liberty

Dear Elaine,

I saw you RSVP’ed, expressing an interest in seeing Dr. Taitz speak at
the RLCCA’s Rally for Liberty event.

It is the position of the RLCCA that President Obama is a natural born
citizen of the United States of America. Unfortunately, Dr. Taitz does
not agree, and as Dr. Taitz makes her disagreement the primary point of
her campaign, the RLCCA has retracted the invitation to Dr. Taitz.

I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you or Dr. Taitz.

Sincerely,

Parke Bostrom
Secretary, RLCCA

I hate to say it, but I know I'm fairly high up on her little list. :-
