I thought she had to sell at least 300 to break even. At this rate, Miki will have to sell close to 30,000 books to break even. She's selling her kindle version of her book and, as best I can tell, she's only sold 4 books -- all on the first day. In the 2 weeks she's been at Amazon, her rankings have been plummeting and are at or near the 300,000 point. I believe she started near 10,000. Poor Miki, another birther fail in a sea of birther fails.

The U.S. was founded on the statement "One nation under God?" Huh. So the country was founded in 1954?

RE: The Kansas rejection.

It's funny watching the birthers who still give a damn about Lakin coming to the hard realization that there are, in fact, consequences to Terry's actions. They keep referencing Terry's military record prior to his incarceration as if it matters. Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he was a traitor. No one remembers what he did before he tried to sell West Point.

The medical profession is full of military personnel. As someone said, they saw right through Lakin bullshit. I find it insulting that they are contrasting him with medical professionals who haven't spent time in a federal prison. Hilarious that Lakin would claim he is a "team player". No you are not.

Personally, I am glad he won't practice in Kansas. I would like to practice in K.C. and don't want to deal with him.

That would be Tuesday, March 27, 2012?

Set the Wayback Machine for...wait, no Wayback Machine is necessary. Just click over to Lakin's site:

Quote:
The publication date is tentatively set for early September, 2011.

The delay might be more understandable if Jack Cashill hadn't said that the book was mostly written back in June 2011. And it's a vanity press, so it's not like there are editorial demands to meet.

It's too bad and kind of sad that Lakin went full-metal birther.

The guy he was before is just the kind of person for whom I fully support lifetime military pensions after 20 years of service (which service, until he became a traitor, seemed to be satisfactory).

But I sure hope no one lets him practice medicine, with such a flawed sense of judgment.

The Lakin Radio show had Van Irion on as a guest Monday March 26. I haven't listened yet.

Link

Edit: I scanned it. There is not much worth hearing. Van Irion doesn't even come on the show until about 40 minutes. It is mostly the host and Irion talking about the corrupt courts everywhere blah blah blah.

He gives a rundown of the cases at 55 minutes:
  1. NH: Filed something with the Election Commission and heard nothing back.
  2. TN: Reminded to federal court against their wishes. Trying to get it sent back to state court.
  3. GA: Lost in Superior Court. GA SC denied their petition for emergency injunction. He thinks they intentionally waited until after the SoS certified the election to screw them. :-({|=
  4. AZ: In dispute over service. Not confident because Judge is Susan Bolton who ruled wrong on immigration. :((

I wonder if he didn't suffer some form of a pshychological breakdown over the course of his previous deployments.

Sure, I might go back and try to catch some of the host, David Moxley, doing a monolog waiting for Venn Diagram to call. He is not very bright. He couldn't pronounce "Arpaio" even after several tries. He says he lives in Georgia and is really ashamed of his home state. His operation is interesting. Radio Sandy Springs is a bunch of tiny 0.1 watt transmitters spread over about a one mile radius to cover the Sandy Springs, GA area. It is barely within the FCC regs but apparently legal to run w/o a license. He must have agreements with property owners to place his little toy transmitters around. The same shows are streamed over Americas Web Radio. They are on Facebook but will immediately delete anything critical of Lakin left on their wall. Trust me I know.

PS, I think this was the same station that was going have Orly do a weekly show at one point. Too bad that never happened.

Old article Piffle (Oct 2010). There are posts about dogbite's celebrity exploits way upthread.

Yikes! Thanks for pointing this out, WD. I saw "2012" on the ad to the right of the story and incorrectly concluded it was fairly current.

He says this:

Quote:
Lieutenant Colonel Terrence ("Terry") Lakin most recently served as Chief of Primary Care and Flight Surgeon for the Pentagon's DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic. He was also the lead Flight Surgeon charged with caring for Army Chief of Staff General Casey's pilots and air crew. LTC Lakin, selected for promotion to Colonel, is a native of Colorado, whose residency is Tennessee.

As far as I recall this is against the rules for a man who has been thrown out of the military?

Yes, it is not appropriate for Mr Lakin to use his former military rank etc in any title, signature etc. However I know of no way to stop a third party from using his former titles etc. Yes, I realize the Mr Lakin could, should and will not do the right thing and ask them to stop the inappropriate use of his former rank.

Carl Swensson is on T-Laugh Radio today. 3 PM EDT. Host David Moxley will probably tell us how ashamed he is of his state for the 1000th time. =))
