Washington State Governor approves "Gay Marriage" bill...

Washington to become 7th Gay Marriage State

Quote:
OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Gov. Chris Gregoire has signed into law a bill that legalizes gay marriage in Washington state, making it the nation's seventh to allow gay and lesbian couples to wed.

It's a historic moment, but same-sex couples can't walk down the aisle just yet.

The law takes effect June 7, but opponents are already mounting challenges on multiple fronts.
Opponents planned to file a challenge Monday that could put the law on hold pending the outcome of a November vote.

Gay marriage legal in Washington state? Does this mean Stephen Pidgeon is getting a divorce? :-?

Wonderful news.

One of these days, some moron is going to say "threat to the nuclear family" and people are going to say "There are half a million legally married gay/lesbian couples already in this great land of ours. What exactly has that done to 'hurt the nuclear family'?"

That's gonna be a tough question to answer, I reckon.

Not sure. But his marriage has been cheapened. I suppose he'll never look at his wife the same way again without thinking that she might be a man.

It's more likely that Pidgeon's wife will look at him and wonder if he's a woman.
