You may have misinterpreted my post. By competing on the general election ballot in November, Obama will be competing against the Republic™ nominee for the Georgia electoral college votes.

We have won our case. The Judge is going to declare a default judgement against Obama. In order for Obama to get his name on the Georgia ballot, he will have to actually sue the Secretary of State and win on appeal — not likely.

My dream is that Farrar fuckwit has his name forever on a case that affirms President Obama's right to be on the Georgia ballot. He could very well be the source for all the "default Judgement" bs too. That guy never could keep his mouth shut. I had him in tears one time on TPM when he claimed some young republicans were beaten up for wearing Palin pins, and I needled him for weeks about it when he presented a video just prior to the attack which showed clearly they they were not in fact wearing Palin pins or pins of any sort. He never admitted he was bullshitting at the beginning either.

I do believe the judge said something that the birthers think basically said, "I will let you win, let's just stop this." And they decided that they had the win so they must also put on a show. Seriously, they are stupid enough to put on a show after being promised a win if they did nothing.

And I think their hubris might be their downfall. The show annoyed the judge and gave him enough to validate the president. He seems not to like being toyed with.

Expect:

1) He rules against them based upon being annoyed
2) They claim he promised them and somehow Obama got to him.

Even if he didn't do any promising expect 2 as a response if he plays by the law.

Was Sampson the Oliver Hardy twin who waddled up towards the end of Orly's case?

Carl Swensson sez:

Quote:
To all my friends in battle,

The Judge pulled the lawyers for the three cases into chambers before it all began and advised them that he would be issuing a default judgment in our favor, since the Defense council failed to show, and wanted to end it there. We argued that all the evidence needed to be entered in to record so the Judge allowed for a speedy hearing where all evidence was entered into the court record. What that means is this… Any appeal, if one is even possible, would be based on the evidence provided by the lawyers in each case. Both Van Irion and My lawyer, Mark Hatfield made certain that our cases and evidence in those two cases would be closed so as not to be affiliated, in any way, with “Birther” Orly Taitz. As expected, she was an embarrassment.

Now we’re merely awaiting the publishing of this Judge’s ruling which, as previously stated, will be a Default Judgment.
In other words…we won. Now it’s time for the rest of the States to take my lead and duplicate this effort.

Carl

After writing about Orly Taitz for three years now, I can honestly say...

Good lord she looks like crap.

Here she was in January of 2009

Here she is now

Is this what three years of blind hatred and failure does to a person???

If this these reports are true then the Birthers better open their check books because this will be appealed unless Kemp overturns and the Democratic party will take it on up the chain if he does not.

Did I misunderstand something? It is my understanding that all this judge has the authority to do is issue an opinion/recommendation to the SOS. Correct?

Here's the thing: everyone's citing Dean as their source on this. Dean obviously wasn't in the judge's chambers, but there's no indication who HE heard it from. An attorney? A plaintiff? A spectator? The more removed this is from someone physically present in the room, the more it turns into a game of telephone.

Orly isn't talking like there's a default, and the other attorneys left after the break. So unless he got the information from Orly, Dean 'knew' this when the hearings ended. And we all spoke to Dean, and he didn't say anything about a default.

Orly's client Farrar is certainly talking about this like Dean (I would guess that he's Dean's source). Was he in the room?
