I received the below link today from the Post & Email. This situation with Walter continues to spiral downward and I know we are all very concerned. Everyone who has attempted to assist Walter seems to have been directed from pillar to post with everyone responsible passing the buck and using the tired old line we have all heard far too often “It’s not my job….”
I called Governor Haslam’s office this morning and was directed to Jean Ligon due to her name being on the correspondence posted in the article below. Since she only takes calls and answers correspondence; she has no ability to help. She referred me to a jail inspector by the name of Joe Ferguson who was very helpful and also concerned. He gave me the name of the Inspector currently in charge of the Monroe County jail…the name is Miller Meadows and he is newly assigned to that jail. His direct cell number is 615-xxx-xxx.

Orly of course posted it in full] Joe told me that the new inspector is a retired 22 year veteran who just might be very concerned about Walter and feel a personal connection to his circumstances…but that he doesn’t have any real high level authority. When I told Joe that it was deplorable the jail was certified after being cited for serious problems and he said the Inspector in charge last July is no longer employed.
During both extended conversations; I explained that the background and circumstances of Walter and the well known corruption in Monroe County are being updated daily to a large base of American citizens who are becoming increasingly concerned and ANGRY. Not only about the Medieval conditions at this particular jail;
but the maltreatment and civil rights violations regarding Walter.
The illegal Grand Jury, the crimes committed by the Judge and other officials and the murders for which some officials have been implicated….
the destruction of Walter’s home (twice?)…the beatings and tasering…and being held in bad health with diabetes complications on a cold concrete floor which has been known to be flooded with sewage, no running water, sensory deprivation and so on. This is beyond acceptance for any citizen, let alone a veteran in ill health. I explained that he has and is being persecuted for peacefully and legally pursuing justice and information that every last American citizen has a right to and that continued harassment and violations are putting his life in danger. I mentioned the other cases, like Huff, as well without going into the names and details.
Basically, I told them that the criminals and corrupt officials
have targeted Walter because he threatens their playground and I am certain
they will see him broken and/or dead and participate directly in that eventual situation if someone at a much higher level does not intervene immediately. Both of them, of course, wanted to know if Walter had an attorney and I tried to impress upon them that Walter cannot trust anyone connected to the county in any way and that with or without an attorney; every citizen has rights and when they are violated, we have fiduciaries who are paid to protect and serve citizens’ rights. So far, the agencies who DO have jurisdiction and specific duties with regard to public corruption and official oppression have refused to do their jobs; opting to protect and serve their peers at the expense of a citizen/veteran of our armed forces.

We need to keep digging and scratching at these scumbags and fleas. It only takes a few minutes to make a call…but if they have to field a lot of calls; it might garner some action from Haslam or another official.

Yes, Orly, you really need to take on the ebil regime at Monroe County who actually jail people who break laws.
Wanting humane jail conditions is another matter (assuming theirs is bad, and they have admitted so and have been trying to correct that for some time). Perhaps you could donate to their building fund.

) and whatever else is in it. Same with magazines. They have to come from an approved source. If you send a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER to Wally, you have to have his complete address with prisoner number. You also have to make sure the MO is marked for Wally's spending fund. Otherwise they will confiscate it to pay for Wally medications and other issues. I am sure Tennessee has a large laundry list of things inmates have to pay for. After all the county citizens REFUSE to pass an enabling levy to tax the shit out of the country to pay for a new jail. Heck the only folks with money in Monroe County are the Meth makers and dealers.
