I always liked the ukulele. Tiny Tim was a master with that instrument.

We had NO IDEA. 70 days later, more than 7,000 frames, 72 audio tracks, 24 hours of filming through the night in front of a green screen, the most props and costumes we've ever used, several broken bows and strings, and over 1,000 hours of editing and rendering-- we felt like we had taken on the entire EMPIRE!

I'm so glad none of my neighbors saw me last night. After a late walk I sat in the backyard admiring the very full (about to be eclipsed) moon. It was very bright. A circle of clouds ringed the moon and strata of clouds going every which way gave me lots to look at. I sat there and cackled and guffawed at the Thought of what heather and friends would make of it.

It was one of the most beautiful sights one can see. They don't see that, they see terrorism and fearism and proof their paranoia is justified. How sad.

I've been trying to find a clip that comes close to explaining how I feel about the birthers -so busy, so full of themselves and their various self-righteous crusades to Save America.

I think this clip from The Fifth Element hits just the right feeling-tone. Too bad it doesn't go all the way to the end of the scene, when he chokes on a cherry and none of his busy little friends can help him.

My staff at FEMA Camp 17 work 10-12 hours a day. So, we're ready at all times to receive interns for rehabilitation. (Is that what we're calling them now?)

SB 1867 Sec 1031 calls them "covered persons". It might allow you to call them your "guests" too.

I love it! I haven't heard that one before. I got turned on to Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas songs several years ago by the morning radio show I listen to. They play them throughout December, then spend Christmas morning playing just Bob's songs. They appeal to the part of me who loves being facetious plus they are an antidote to all "sickingly sweet" sentimentality and religious fevor that surrounds me here in the buckle of Bible belt.
