I forgot to Fall Back and change the settings in my profile. If you did as well...

go to User USER CONTROL PANEL.

Click the BOARD PREFERENCES tab.

You should now be in the EDIT GLOBAL SETTINGS section.

Next to last it asks Summer Time/DST is in effect: CHOOSE NO.

Now how do I change my car clock? :-?

Feel around for buttons. Something's gotta work.

Disconnect the battery for either 11 or 13 hours.

I recently (with the help of the visiting Norman) redid my ancient red brick fireplace with gorgeous porcelain tiles (bought at Goodwill for $35.00 for $400 worth of tiles), it looks absolutely wonderful. In the course of the remodel I had to remove all of the brass thingys on there as well as a grandmother clock which had not worked for these many years as the battery was dead (it is a repro clock). So after we did the remodel I replaced the battery in the clock and got up on the step ladder and put it back on the very tall chimney breast now happily tick tocking and anvil swinging. This weekend I said to Norman "now I am going to have to get up on the stepladder again and change the damn clock" he said "aw leave it til march, when it will be right again". You know I think I will follow his advice. :)

Oh bother.

Now, all my whinging out of the way, I'm wondering why this thread did not appear to me until tonight when the first post was Monday afternoon? Especially since I've been wondering if I missed a clock. Also, why is it that most of my newer digital clocks come with a DST switch that even asks if I'm on pre-Bush or post-Bush DST, but phpBB still makes us change it as if we were Amish, y'know, with wood-burning clocks.

Oh...It would appear that all my whinging was not out of the way. Sorry about that. Carry on and mind the minutes scattered about, I'm sure that someone'll sweep those up later and plug 'em in again next Spring.
