I'm quite sure this is an important contribution to the literature.

I'd be curious to see if thus one's based on the same two flimsy pieces of paper Orly carts around..

Foggy isn't this a book that discredits the birther claims? John Woodman is the guy who produced those great youtube videos and we've been trying to get on RC radio right?

Yes, John Woodman is "Springfield Computer Guy" whom Epectitus discovered.

"A related survey by Mr. Woodman suggests at least two-thirds of Americans have heard the rumors that President Obama's birth certificate - publicly released by the White House in the form of a computer PDF file - is an obvious and proven forgery. And those claims have been backed up by an entire panel of experts  showcased by conservative  website WorldNetDaily. But Woodman says that all of "their experts" are wrong - and that his detailed analysis proves it."

But is he worried that WorldNetDaily‘s panel of experts will be able to counter his analysis?

“I’m always willing to be proven wrong. But I’d say they’re the ones who are now going to have to backtrack,” he replies

  I guess despite his painstaking research he didn't read enough of WND to realize they never backtrack, except to secretively 'scrub.'

Nice article here:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/tea-pa ... 2011-08-30

Quote:
"I didn't set out to disprove the forgery claims," he says. "I set out to discover the truth. And truth, even when some may find it inconvenient, is definitely one of the values we need to preserve and restore in our society."

In this case, unraveling the truth took Woodman, a computer professional with 20 years' experience, a full 3 months of careful investigation. He meticulously researched more than 30 different claims of evidence that Mr. Obama's birth certificate is forged - and ended up dismissing them all.

I ordered it for Kindle this morning. I read a chapter or two and it is very detailed. I recommend it. He has entire chapter debunking Paul Irey's claims of multiple fonts and typefaces that is all new material from what I can tell. RC Radio and TFB both are quoted as sources in footnotes. He destroys Corsi but in a polite, firm and matter of fact way using Corsi's own words. Doctor Conspiracy is mentioned quite favorably in several chapters.

OK, I'm running a bit slower these days. What is supposed to go where *twit* goes. It's descriptive, but I'm not sure I can narrow it down.

I just spoke with John Woodman and he agreed to appear on RC Radio tomorrow night.

Hmmm. I'd like to order it for my Kindle but all I see is a button telling the publisher I want it on Kindle. I pressed it. Does that mean I'll get it soon?

Also, the used copies are selling for almost $2 more than the new. Wuzzup with that?

I did the one click order thingy on Amazon from my iPad and I was reading it in seconds in the Kindle app.

It seems you have a doppelganger on the other side posting the same thing. Perhaps she already downloaded it for you....

Thanks for the kind comments, and thanks for patience as we iron out a few little wrinkles!

There was an error in the link to the Kindle version on the site, which has now been corrected. If anyone has any issues with any of the electronic versions, do please let me know via the official web site, ObamaBirthBook.com.

Also, those who pre-ordered hard copies should be receiving them, autographed, soon. In the meantime you should've received a free electronic copy I came up with in order to help make sure you're among the first able to read the book.

Any other questions or issues, do be sure to let me know.

Best wishes,

John Woodman
