Couldn't resist. I love that guy. His head is like a huge honeydew melon with high blood pressure.

Corsi #2 looks like he just cut one and the other three look like they are holding one back. =))

That same Conwebblog post notes:

I pointed out to Corsi that, his and Farah's assertions to the contrary, there are people who will defend the authenticity of the PDF birth certificate or at least rebut its attackers, such as Dr. Conspiracy's detailed rebuttal of the Ken Vogt analysis that Corsi devoted three WND articles to. Corsi's response was a curious one: After calling Dr. Conspiracy "one of my favorites," Corsi said, 'I'll be writing about Dr. Conspiracy in the next few days. I'll be exposing his background, his entire credentials, his involvement with his company. I've got a detailed -- I just haven't had time to write it up."

When I asked Corsi why he's personally attacking his critics by digging into their backgrounds, Corsi suddenly softened his tone: "I'm sorry, I said I would evaluate his credentials. It's not a personal attack, but we're going to evaluate his credentials in his point-by-point."

Le sigh...

Corsi is gonna attack Dr. Conspiracy?

Just a post at WingNutDaily? Or does Doc get a book devoted to him?

According the reports from Ad Week

http://www.adweek.com/news/press/birthe ... ire-133096

(They got their monetary figures horribly screwed up but what the hell)

Farah stated that WTBC had a print run of 65,000 copies.

Based on that, WND reckons the value of each bok must be about $4,000 each….(255,000,000 / 65,000)

Optimistic much….. =))

The ConWebWatch article posted a link with the data on the Bloomberg Room at the National Press Club:

Well sure, just speculation, but how can he resist doing something with the information Kenyacorn is feeding him? That the stuff is just burning a hole in his pocket and he's looking for excuses to publish it? That he's got a vendetta against debunkers now because he has to find someone to blame for his failed book? That the guy's judgement is clouded by hate? That he's gotten away with it once/ twice already and no one's pushed back hard enough to make him think twice about doing it again? I dunno, jus askin.

Just a slight correction on that article

Quote:
Farah said the post's reference to "Capricorn One" -- a movie about a faked moon landing -- was not a sufficient clue to the satirical nature of the post because so much of the article was untrue.

Capricorn One is actually about a faked manned mission to Mars. Its just a small thing but is important to dot your 'I's and stuff. Good movie too.

Did WND start running the "$4.95" special before the LFBC was released?

KBOA has been threatening Doc C with "exposure" for some time. And she has claimed that all of Corsi's "research" on the debunkers is her work.

Except that Sharon had about 4x as many people.

Apparently, there were a grand total of 3 in the audience -- AdWeek, ConWebWatch, and some "reporter" who turned out to be another WND staffer. Not even Lester showed up!

No. They were still charging something like $22 for WTBC for at least a couple of weeks afterwards.

Didn't Lester say he was convinced the BC was real?? I thought I read that in a thread here a while back. And then suddenly, Lester's not heard from ... ?

Lester is birfoona non grata since he opined that the certificate with raised seal that he handled at the WH presser seemed okay to him.

Well, that was an interesting read. Terry's article links to an article that links to a blog post from Jan. 08 that asserts that Sickliar was somehow affiliated with the Ron Paul Campaign when he first made his accusations and that the blogs most involved in pushing it were all Paul supporter blogs. I don't believe I had heard that one before.

Also, I have a problem with this Mara Zebest person's name. She has zero credibility to me because of it, aside from the fact she's with Farah. For me the name Zebest means complete and utter fraud. I wonder how many others have the same reaction?

Way back when there was this slick kid named Barry Minkow who was sent to jail because he was an extraordinary con artist. He had a rug cleaning - RUG CLEANING, fer chrissakes- business called ZZZZ-best that he Ponzi'd into a multi-million dollar publicly traded company. He was just a kid, a teenager. He was the boy wonder in Forbes and on Wall Street. Gushing Local Boy Makes Good stories were everywhere. And then the first Ponzi brick toppled and pretty soon he was exposed as a fraud and many good people who had invested in him on the strength of the Publicity lost a whole bunch of money.

The name she writes under is Mara Zebest Nathanson, so it seems to me that Zebest might be her maiden name.

Hmmm didn't Farah claim some grand number for the first run of printing?
