Hint to Tracy: "The Framers" weren't around to draft the 14th Amendment. The purpose of the 14th amendment was to include as citizens of the US people born in the US who "The Framers" considered to be only 3/5ths persons.

It's worse than that since the people she quoted were basically saying "Yeah, we were wrong about the whole 3/5^ths of a person thing, but we certainly don't intend to make INDIANS into citizens...".

Ooooooooo, she's gonna tell on you. What is she, a mental 11 year old? It cracks me up that birthers think birther debunkers are sneaking around doing our debunking in sekrit. It shows that's what they're doing - sneaking around, trying to hide their obsession from their friends and family. I'm proud of what we do here at Fogbow. My friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives know about our birther debunking because I tell them proudly what we do here. Many of them think we're doing a service for our country. Some think it's a waste of time and birthers are fringe nutjobs. I have never met {anyone who admits to being }a birther in person and no one I know has ever met one {who admits to being birther}. I live in a traditionally conservative little suburb of a top 20 city. Run of the mill birfers know what they're doing is shameful and keep their birfing sekrit when out in the world.

You know, this is exactly right. Verb and I don't keep our debunking activities a secret from our friends and family, at ALL. Some of them snicker. Some of them call us excitedly when they see something like a "Where's The Birth Certificate?" billboard, as though we could have it taken down It's no secret what we do.

(And our circle of friends and family is by NO means all liberal or progressive. We have hardcore Palinists in our midst, and even they like what we do. Or at least they say so.)
