Come now, any step away from discussing non-existing "problems" with the PDF version of the LFBC is step in the right direction. So encourage them when they start to take those first steps.. with any luck a few may even find their way back to reality if they take enough of them.
I would agree with you, except they think the .pdf is what was released. There are other comments that discount the existence of a paper copy ...
Yep; Obama's lawyer flew all the way to Hawaii to pick up a .pdf!
How did I end up being the one saying I hope they are sterilized? I thought I was the one saying we should encourage them to come back to reality...I'm so confused now.
I should fix that. I have to run to the grocery store, and will then fix this!
Edit: It's fixed!
If only anonymouse was!

The official reason was that the birth question had become an intolerable distraction. This is surely true, but it has been true for more than two years. Why now? Was it the Trump factor? Did Donald Trump’s trumpeting of the birther issue — loudly and ceaselessly — provide the final impetus?
Yes, obviously. Trump resurrected the birther cause and breathed new life into it. But it wasn’t only to end the debate that Obama sent for his certificate. According to the vineyard, it was also to prevent other Republican candidates from looking sane by comparison to Trump.
How does one make Mitt Romney look like a fringe candidate with the fire-eating, cartwheeling Trump creating the sort of sideshow that makes any other candidate look Rushmorian?
oh? I never considered that. I don't know if that's the true reason the President decided to release his 'long form', but there is truth in it anyway. "...to prevent other Republican candidates from looking sane by comparison to Trump."

I don't know if anyone has posted this but Adobe has an online "how to" magazine about their products. You will never guess what it is called:

The ones that crack me up from Mimi's links are the ones from Sharon's Pet ORC "Virginia Gent" (you know, the one that has a giant Boehner for Meroooi) where he captions his proof videos:
"Obama Birth Certificate Faked In Adobe Illustrator - Official Proof 2".
What's fun about the second "Official Proof" video is someone tries to debunk the debunk, how layers are created by OCR software automatically. He knows how to say "OCR", but somehow in his mind and mouth that translates to "handwriting recognition software". Using a bit of scribbled on paper, he demonstrates how that fails, never acknowledging how the script he has isn't "text" in the sense that OCR looks for, and is too poorly written to be recognized.

Well doncha know, GG... My DeskJet 8500 prints OCR in layers. I use OCR-A in CAPS all of the time. That is the preferred font for USPS. It's a gubmint conspiracy, I tells you.
This John Cole cartoon appeared in my morning paper today. I thought some might enjoy it as much as I did.

As someone said recently, so what if there were layers, they would have been introduced when the B/C was scanned into the White House computer. When was that? After The President's lawyer brought the two paper copies back from Hawaii. They can't seem to get that, they think that the certs were created as a digital document and that the paper copies never existed. There is also the chain of custody and I wonder if a photo was taken of the copies being handed over by the officials. if there was it would either have been taken later or photoshopped or both. You cant win! Regards ...........Dick
I don't remember seeing this video, but the Washington Times goes on record that the digital image is fake... you know, the layers.
The birthers are all over this one, cuz, you know, the Washington Times is "legit."
Ah, but 'weekly correspondent for Washington Times radio' is hardly a full-time position. Know what Mr. Robert Stanley regular gig is? He's the editor of UNICUS Magazine.
And what, you ask, is UNICUS Magazine? To answer that question, let's take a look at its Mission Statement:
Quote:
We are the world's first magazine and web site for earthbound extraterrestrials. If you, or someone you know, is an ET visiting or living on Earth we welcome you to our forum. We feel it is time for the people of Earth to stop talking about ETs and begin talking with them. That is what unicusmagazine.com is here for... to share intergalactic ideas and information.
His book, Close Encounters on Capitol Hill. Think it's about hobnobbing with the rich and powerful in DC? Think again. From Amazon:
Quote:
Product Description
Most people know that UFOs repeatedly visited Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1952. However, few people realize that UFOs returned to DC 50 years later, in the summer of 2002 and were photographed landing on Capitol Hill. But no one knew how many times UFOs have been sighted in the nation's capital until now.
The information compiled in this book indicates that the District of Columbia continues to be a preferred destination for UFOs; a fact that has been largely ignored by the media. It is high time for people to know the truth about the ongoing alien incursions of the controlled airspace over Washington, D.C. Thanks to the investigative journalism of Robert M. Stanley, the hidden history of UFOs in America's capital has finally been revealed.
About the Author
Formerly a corporate journalist for HONDA Research & Development, Robert M. Stanley is currently the editor of UNICUS magazine.com. He is also a correspondent for America's Morning News: Washington Times investigative radio. He has passionately researched UFOs and ETs for over 30 years. In that time, he has interviewed dozens of eye-witnesses and leading experts. His ongoing investigations have been featured on international television and radio, and in print. Mr. Stanley is originally from Malibu, California. He has traveled to more than 50 countries in search of answers to ancient mysteries.
So in the Birthers' haste to raise up this guy as 'legit,' they have instead promoted a UFOlogist who runs a magazine for aliens.

Written by the fellow who is seen speaking to Stanley, it's not organized very clearly, but the ball really gets rolling midway through:
Quote:
Is Barack Obama's birth certificate a distraction from his quantum access time travel pre-identification secret?
...There appears to be another hidden factor beyond the location of Mr. Obama’s birth that is at play here – quantum access time travel pre-identification of recent U.S. Presidents, including Barack Obama. The CIA has been pre-identifying future U.S. Presidents such as Barack Obama for 40 years and has, by the evidence, co-opted each of them into CIA.
This secret quantum access program controls the U.S. presidency and makes the United States a functional CIA dictatorship.
As this reporter has written, the eyewitness evidence of whistleblower Andrew D. Basiago, the attorney in Washington State who was a participant in the secret DARPA-administered Project Pegasus that developed Tesla technology-based "quantum access" to past and future events, indicates that it is likely that by 1982 Mr. Obama had been personally informed by CIA that he was destined to be the U.S. President inaugurated on January 20, 2009.
Barack Obama was pre-identified in time as U.S. president by secret DARPA time travel program
...In numerous TV and radio interviews, Mr. Basiago has described how, among other intelligence findings, Project Pegasus was identifying future American presidents and then approaching them and apprising them of their destinies as President.
He has described how as a child serving in Project Pegasus in the early 1970’s, he was present at lunches held at La Hacienda restaurant in Old Town Albuquerque, NM that were attended by project principals and future American presidents, including George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, shortly after they were informed that Project Pegasus had found via quantum access that they would one day serve as President.
In appearances on talk radio’s Coast to Coast AM with George Noory in 2009 and 2010, Mr. Basiago described at length a 1982 meeting with Barack Obama in Los Angeles in which Mr. Obama also revealed his awareness that he had been briefed on the fact that the US government had detected that he was destined to reach the White House.
We can infer from this meeting between Mr. Obama and Mr. Basiago in 1982 that at age 20 Mr. Obama had already entered into at least a consultative relationship with the CIA, because at the time, the US government was the only country with a time travel capability and the CIA was known to be collecting the intelligence data about past and future events that Project Pegasus was gathering via its time travel technologies.
This, of course, gives me another excuse to use this picture:

I actually ordered my copy yesterday, along with Jonathan Kay's "Among the Truthers." They're released the same day, so I got free shipping. I sure hope that anyone reviewing Corsi's book takes note of what Kay's book has to say about his type of conspiracism.

EDIT: Even the people who comment on Amazon recognize Orly's abilities. Sean A. Maher says: I wonder how quickly it'll be thrown out. She's not a very good lawyer.
AND
Sansom O'Reilly says: "She's not a very good lawyer." One of the worst I've ever seen. She makes the entire profession look bad.

My post on the numbers disappeared!
On April 27th, a few hours after the LF was released, the book was at 23 (IIRC; it was below 30). WND claimed that it was at #1 on April 22nd.
Well, at about 10:30 pm PDT last night, the book was at 88. At 1:30 am this morning, it was at 95; 10 mins later it was at 97 (that I do remember correctly). At 5:31 pm (now), it is at 113!
Should we set up a poll to see how low folks think it will go?

I, for one, would like to know how Trump's investigators are progressing.
Trump said, "You wouldn't BELIEVE what they are finding out there!!!"
I want Trump to make me believe. Plus, I want to know who his investigators are. Is he using the same team of investigators that O.J. used to track down Nicole Brown Simpson's killers? Because those guys have a proven track record.

I think that Trump was lying about having investigators in Hawaii. CNN asked the DoH if anyone identifying themselves as investigators for Trump had shown up at the DoH. It is possible that the investigators didn't id themselves. But if I remember correctly, only one person had checked the birth registry book in the past month, and I think that was before Trump announced that he had investigators in Hawaii. That isn't proof that their weren't investigators in Hawaii, but CNN was unable to find any trace of investigators in Hawaii.
I think Trump was using WND's old "investigations" and Tim Adams' fantasy, referring to them as his investigators. Trump also refused to talk about his investigators at any time. He said it would be "inappropriate"!

Yeah? Well, while Trump's investigators were in Hawaii, Obama sent his investigators to Pakistan.... and you wouldn't BELIEVE what they found out there!

Pakistan is just another example of what happens when you base a first world weapons program on a third world budget. The military has the bomb, but the state still doesn't have control over some if it's own territory. Top scientists, but a peasant/serf type of agrarian population. A bit too big for it's britches.
