I suspect there has always been bullying and threats; however, the older crop of GOP reps knew how to threaten quietly. They still gave some head nod to the Regan rule, do not disparage another Republican (publically). This new crop, and a bunch of their voters equate success with bullying and threatening (which they wrongly think is being a fighter).

Also, they have decided they have the power to primary out the other "RINOS" (which means anybody who does not agree with them today), so they use that. They have no clue that if they primary out GOP reps closer to the center, they hand that seat to the other side.

They seek only chaos, not any supposed conservative value. If the Dems decided to agree with a bill of theirs, they would move the goalposts. They are Putin's greatest asset (whether or not there is a connection, I assume he likes their work).

Yesterday, there were 20 voting for others and 1 not voting (Bilirakis). Today, the others went up by 2, and Jeffries went up by 1. There appears to be zero non-voting this last time so Jordan lost 2 (maybe 3 if he gained Bilirakis), and somebody from other or Jordan jumped ship.

The clerk has not posted the roll call vote yet.

Edit: NYT is saying that Jordan had 199 and Jeffires had 212 so the vote in the image was probably an accident and was fixed before voting closed. Jordan still did lose ground.
