I'd hum the Amok Time theme music, except I wouldn't sully the memory of one of the best episodes of Classic Star Trek by using it to reference these alleged bipedal mammals.

There was special Amok Time theme music? My memory has it being the same sort of maritial fight music that was used repeatedly for serious fight scenes in the show. Or was Amok Time the first time (no pun intended)?

I believe the last of these might be the case. I know the composer won an award for it and it was meant for Amok Time, so it's possible it was reused later and I'm just not remembering that because the piece has become so associated in my head with that one episode.

Here's the whole cue from Amok Time. The beginning and end were not that familiar to me, so I'm guessing they were not used again. Here's a list of the other eps it was used in:
The main episodes that featured the Amok Time music were 'Amok Time', 'The Gamesters of Triskelion' and 'Bread and Circuses'. I believe it was also used a little in 'A Private Little War' and 'The Omega Glory' as well.

Truly Speaker material.

In the Media treating a band of gibbering Clowns the same as serious professionals, here is David Gregory finding a way to blame the Democrats for Republicans not even being able to agree amongst themselves, and CNN failing to slap him for being stupid.

Rep. Mike Rogers, who chairs the Armed Services Committee, told reporters Thursday after a closed-door House GOP meeting that he wants Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to tell Republicans what concessions they’ll have to make for Democrats to help them elect a speaker.

Jake Sherman
@JakeSherman

🚨BREAKING: @Jim_Jordan
is aiming to schedule a floor vote on his bid to be speaker for TUESDAY.

55 House Rs said they wouldnt vote for him on the floor, but allies been working to shrink that all weekend. But it's a very, very steep climb.

JORDAN is intent on putting ppl on the record, per sources.
