While I certainly wouldn't put "affected" past him, Lucas Smith, I, Thorswitch, once spent a summer in Nome, Alaska hanging out with several people from Minnesota, several native Alaskans, a couple southerners and at least one guy from Brooklyn, and when I returned home, everyone said I sounded like I was Scottish.

It's passed after a few weeks as I, Thorswitch, became reacquainted with my normal virtually-accentless mid-western patois. That amalgamated-Scottish accent was quite fun, though, while it lasted.

When I was looking at $500K dumps in 2005, I think my taxes and insurance was only about $575/ month. Can this be right?

that's what the property is assessed for. that's not the taxes.

The structure is assessed at $14,000. the land is assessed at $4,573.
