What do the little green words “Hidden is OFF” mean?

Means the text is hidden from guests but not for members who are logged in.

Meaningless protection from birther spies, in all honesty.

About 130 - 170 registered members log in in any given 24 hour period. Most of them don't post.

Some of them are birthers. They can see the hidden text.

When you're writing a post, there's a big bold H. Highlight text and click that, and it hides the text from guests.

The biggest thing it does is it makes birfers log in to see what people are saying about them. Makes 'em work a little for our daily chuckle.

When you're composing a post, there's a little blue circle with a question mark at the top right of the "Post a reply" box.

That will explain how to use all the cool formatting buttons, except for ones in the bottom row, which are explained here.

I disabled some of the ones that are explained when you click the blue question mark.
