Yah well I aint figured out where it is. And I done had a interest. Must be that [*] thing.

I LOVE FONTS!

As fer tabs, I like 'em. I just use "list" over & over. Works like a tab. Sometimes I use it instead of the quote box, dependin'.

I've seen that kinda highlight thing before. It can get mighty ugly.

Very simple.

  • You writes you a mini-threadjack.

  • You selects the mini-threadjack with your mousie.

  • You clicks the "off-topic" button.

How to make a bulleted list:

  • You writes you a list.

  • You selects the list with your mousie.

  • You clicks the button that says "List".

  • You puts a [ * ] everywhere you wants you a bullet, by clickin' the button that says [ * ] (except the real button doesn't have a space before and after the asterisk).

  • If you put one or two carriage returns after each list item, they'll be squished together.
  • Like this.
  • So put three carriage returns if you want a blank line between your list items.
  • I know keyboards don't really have a carriage. I'm using outdated terminology. :(

How to make a numbered (or lettered) list:

  1. Same as the bulleted list, except you selects your list and click the "List=" button, which, by an odd coincidence, is right next to the plain ol' "List" button, except it has an equal sign in it.

  2. If you put a "1" in it (inside the brackets) like this: "List=1" you gets a numbered list (if you remembers to put the [ * ] without the spaces on both sides of the asterisk wherever you want the next number).

  3. If you put a "a" in it (inside the brackets) like this: "List=a" you gets a lettered list (if you remembers to put the [ * ] without the spaces on both sides of the asterisk wherever you want the next letter).

    1. You can also put a list within a list. A sublist.

    2. If'n you got a hankerin' to.

The great thing about lists is, you can change the order of your list items around and the numbering will still be right.

Oh. Maybe I misunderstood.

No, go look at the graphic I posted this morning, on page 3 of this thread, toward the bottom.

It puts the text in a box marked "Offtopic:" and makes the text blue. It works a little like our "Edit" button.

I think all my special BBCodes will be available on the button bar, too.
It says I have to assign a small graphic to each of them.

You can look at some of the cool stuff you can do by clickin' right here.

And I opened up registration (and I think I turned off the "moderate first three posts" thingy).

But don't write anything you want to save for posterity, 'cuz I'm gonna zap that forum when I get it set up on Fogbow.

  1. I bothered to learn to use lists a long time ago.

  2. I forget how to use them after a while.

  3. Now I know how to use them again.

  4. I never knew about the 3 carriage return thingy.

  5. Does anyone remember that cntl-G is the bell?

  6. :-bd

Moderation?

I can't even sign in.

It tells me username is incorrect. It tells me my password is incorrect.

Yeah, you have to REGISTER.

And then get an EMAIL.

And then click the ACTIVATION LINK in the email.

This one doesn't have pre-populated user accounts.

Don't you think I know better than to pick on elliewyatt?

I tried again. It's a pain for me to have to approve posts. I can't 'member where the setting is.

I got in OK. It is pretty cool. The only one who can rock my world though is the one that told Ed Hale "Up yours!".

Did y'all see Foggy's Maintenance Alert?
Quote:
Tomorrow morning bright and early, I will be closing the board for an upgrade to our BBCodes.

As you can see on pp. 3-4 in the "New features you'd like to see implemented on Fogbow" thread, this will greatly enhance the formatting features available on Fogbow, but it requires disabling the board while I make some changes.

Meet you on the other side of the wormhole.

:(( Oh nooooooooooooes! :(( Run for your lives! The Rooster's on the loose!

Just kidding. ;)

God bless!

O ye of little faith. [-X ?(

It went smooth as silk. It's all over but the crying. :((

My new BBCodes panel is slicker than goose shit. Last improvement for a while, though.

Oh, and I zapped Planet Moonbat, just as I predicted I would.

Recent photos seem to indicate Boehner has stopped using Orange Glo as part of his metrosexual routine.
