A Birther's Guide to Beating OBOTs - First Edition - By Squeeky
Introduction: I have been fighting OBOTS for several months and am finally comfortable that I can beat them with logic, or at least not look too stupid, when I fight with them. So here is what I have learned and I will add to this and get a Second Edition out soon with more examples in it.

Some interesting tidbits:
Quote:
SECOND WEAKNESS, is OBOTS live in Law Land. They think the answer to everything is a LEGAL ISSUE and a LEGAL ANSWER. Well it is, IF YOU ARE IN COURT. But we are not in court. We are in the real world. There is a difference.

She's not a Vattelite:
Quote:
The law is very clear. If Obama was born in Hawaii or Conneticut, then he is a Natural Born Citizen, PERIOD!!! End of story. Think about it. Does it really make any sense that some 300 year old French or Swiss guy, whatever, made the citizenship rules for America??? So what if George Washington checked out the stupid book. American courts have already ruled on what makes a “Natural Born Citizen.” (NBC). Vattel isn’t it. It’s just being born in America, and a few things for overseas Americans.

I guess she's not a fan of Ron Polland either:
Quote:
SECOND WEAKNESS is our Birther Myths, like somebody proved the Internet copy of the COLB was a fraud. This is STUPID. You can’t prove a picture of a document on the Internet is phony, unless it is signed by Peter Rabbit or something. But, you also can’t prove its true, either. We need to dump our Birther Myths and stick to our strengths which are the basics. I will give more details on this later as I try to sort out some of our Birther myths

And as everyone knows, the fundamental question of what is a President, how is it defined, how is it decided and instituted, etc. -- not in the legal realm either. ](*,)

Perhaps, like her namesake, she will advocate resorting to extralegal means of removal?

Interesting.

OMG! The Mein Kampf of the Birfer Movement! Here's a little understatement:

Quote:
HERE ARE THEIR STRENGTHS: They have some documents on their side. There is the Internet COLB. The statements by the Hawaii people. The two newspaper articles. That’s it. About four pieces of paper. They have good arguments, which I will discuss in more detail in Edition 2, but that’s all they have document wise. Four pieces of paper.

Some documents? Like a Birth Certificate, maybe?

OTOH, if she knocks out the 2 parent idiots, this could be a good thing.

parsy, who Damn!, tries to be fast and smart.

It's getting pretty bad when you can't tell the genuinely stupid Birfers from the Birfer parodies. I definitely think she has more on the ball than she lets on, like she's reeling in a fish. From her poems, I'm guessing maybe junior high school English teacher and/or debate coach? They have an Emily Dickinson - Edgar Lee Masters feel to them.

parsy, who is glad there is a squeeky thread

I think Squeeky is actually a he. Someone with a rather poor view of women, who therefore writes with a poor feminine affect.

Could be a HE, or a couple? Whatever, she/he/they are, is making a move to become the Head of The Birfer Brain Trust. Minimum IQ of 36 required. Reading, writing, and thinking skills optional.

I'm not 100% sure of that, Plutodog, or maybe Jennifer4Hillary was a parody, too, or maybe the Squeeky character has been passed on to another puppeteer. But I had similar thoughts when I saw the Squeeky Fromm, Girl Reporter postings at the OC Weekly ... that this is not what (or who) it appears to be.

But trying to apply logic and reason to birtherism? Can't be done and still remain a birther. It's the problem that all of these "true believer" groups have -- you have to suspend all disbelief to be a Tea Partier, or a Rush fan, or for that matter, a member of the GOP. It doesn't matter what your affiliation or background -- as soon as you notice the emperor's lack of clothes, they'll throw you out and scream that they knew you were a RINO or obot all along. If whoever is playing Squeeky thinks the birfers are going to give up their myths just because she points out their illogic, she'll find the people fighting her aren't the obots at all.

Nope, I think Squeeky is a he, who thinks he is very clever. And is happy to have his own thread on The Fogbow. I don't get the humor in all of this; it seems like a tremendous waste of time and effort to me.

I'm with ya. He/she/it thinks it's clever... I think it's dull and unimportant.

Um, confused here. Why do you have to suspend all disbelief to be a Rush fan?

His EIB Network gives it all away. Are you a Rush Limbaugh fan, TS?

I notice that Squeeky is the latest member of the Patriot Heart Forum. There is something strange about her. Notice how she puts a "u" after the "q". That is not normal for a birther.

Gods, no, not a fan of Limbaugh - fan of the band Rush. Got confused :)

How Birthers Can Handle the OBOT “Airplane” Argument
The good news from squeeky:

http://gretawire.forums.foxnews.com/top ... D-argument

Excerpt:

Quote:
SQUEEKY: That was interesting. First you put all the miles in Kilometers which why would do this??? Because there are more kilometers than there are miles. For example when I am going 60 miles per hour, I am going 100 Kilometers per hour. So first, you are cheating!!!

Then, you don’t know how much money anybody had or how they got to Africa. So you are just guessing it would have been 7 days and the rest. There were ways to get to Africa or they could not have made Tarzan movies.

But I am not going to fuss at you about that because you are using your Woman’s intuition, just like I am. I am “Guessing” Mobamba’s is from Kenya Africa because he sure is hiding a lot of stuff about his birth. Plus he acts like an anti-colonial Kenyan.

=))

And it gets even dumber from there. See, the price was cheap because rich people paid for it, 9 cents on the dollar. And Squeeks is good at figuring this stuff out because:

Quote:
BUT, and here is where maybe sometimes drinking helps you think because I remember something I heard on TV about the tax rates in the 1960s. SO GUESS WHAT? In 1960 it was 91%! So if a rich person did have to pay a few hundred dollars, they would save 91% of it in taxes which means it would just cost NINE CENTS PER DOLLAR if they wrote it off their taxes, which you just know they did!

[-( =))

I think Squeeky is an Obot having some fun. I'm pretty sure Squeeky is a guy though, but one who( no offense if it's a PJer doing opposition work) doesn't know women well enough to imitate one. [-X

Yep, that's exactly what I have been saying. Or, he really doesn't like women very much. Kinda sad.

On the other hand, I LOVE seeing great tagline remarks suchlike "more info at the link"!

Could be, and there have definitely been some squeeky snarkers out there. But this squeeky has never been real intelligent (or typically female in the admirable sense) in any incarnation.
