Thanks for the link and thanks for posting his email.

To me, it shows his Jeckyll and Hyde mentality. In the video he makes entirely different statements than what he does in his email to you and to others I've read purported to be from him. He's nutz.

I was more interested in a comment you made in your article related to "all the facts." I randomly clicked on one of your eligibility links and this comment kind of jumped out at me: "Berg vs. Obama has been delayed. Oral arguments appealing the summary dismissal on

And it's not the only connection WND has in that regard either. Jerome Corsi has appeared on James Edward's show before. And James Edwards, who was the one interviewing Tim Adams, is an acknowledged member of Stormfront.

I saw that mentioned the other day on the Cesspool's Wiki page. I figured that was at least one reason why WND didn't mention the affiliations of Edward's show, or even the *name* of his program ("he was briefly interviewed by James Edwards, host of a weekly radio show on WLRM Radio in Memphis, Tenn."). And even then they buried that comment deep in the article, putting it just before their rote unrelated birther material at the bottom.

Why would WND do this? Because this president upsets WND so much, it has no problem continuously spreading disinformation about him, or lying down in the mud with anyone who will tell lies. (And also WND survives by separating angry people from their money, and will do anything to further that endeavor.)

One old report about WND says that they've admitted in the past that 80% of WND's income comes through stuff they sell in their store.

Yeah. The guy is a puzzle. He's nutz but knows when and how not to seem nutz. I actually thought WND made Adams look a lot better than he's done himself. I'm beginning to wonder if the whole thing is a hoax, though. Not about the information nobody had access to, but the rest of it, the performance.

BTW, does anyone have a YouTube channel link for this person? I'd like to watch him if I could instead of just reading or listening.

He wrote he was an ex-convict and a murderer.

His book says the military doctors diagnosed him with mental illness. Nobody would share a room with him. He talks of anger issues. He talks of violence. And, he has posted racist rants.

The racist rant stuff is obvious, but I'd like to stress that the stuff he wrote in his book is not necessarily autobiographical. It's not clear whether he's writing about personal experience, or whether he's writing first-person fiction. So while his writing may tell us something about him, I would take the 'personal confessions' with a big grain of salt.

Yes, the book is listed as fiction.

The murder comment was on the Yahoo Answers page, or whatever it's called.

I didn't say I believed what he said. I do think he has issues. And, the point is, how can he be deemed credible?

I didn't realize that meant hacked by a spammer. I've seen that a few times on blogs. Just rows and rows of words. I guess the NoScript makes it show up like that.

I am kind of curious as to what the County of Honolulu is going to say about this guy abusing his position to access (or attempt to access) private information on people when it was clearly outside the scope of his job.

It kind of reminds me of our electronic chart system at the hospital. Everything's automated, but if you search for someone's records, you'd better be able to justify it if you are ever asked.

OK, I'm blaming PJ over this (no, I'm not, but since I'm soon going on vacation, I'm getting giddy).

You would have thought I just opened up a hose-pipe (as they say here in Gaw-giah) on my posting. The back-channel commentary has been incredible.

Wow. I say a few words of critique about WMD and folks go ballistic (it's not like I haven't taken WND to task before; I guess it just wasn't as important then...).

Ah well, that's the way it goes, I guess. And all I've done is attempted to bring some sanity to WND's sensationalism.

As I said in an update to my posting, the lack of evidence is only evidence that something is lacking; it is not evidence that something is necessarily so. Or, two negatives only make a positive in mathematics.

This is indeed a collection of fictional short stories written in the first person. They read like autobiographies and small parts of them may have some foundation in his real life, but these stories are not a confession to being a murderer or to being violently mentally ill. They are not an account of his exploits. This is a book that honors violence, deviance, and self-abuse, and it is badly written. In its irresponsible practice of just reprinting the publisher's blurb (i.e., Adams' description of this work), Amazon makes Adams' "story" seem real:
Quote:
Collection of Non-fiction and short fiction works by author and playwright, Timothy Lee Adams, soldier, government agent, and one time known terrorist during the 1980's; Mr. Adams became an advocate for civil rights and has had many adventures.

So why did he burst onto the scene with his absurd claims about what he learned as Chief Elections Clerk in Honolulu? I think he wanted publicity for this book. He sees himself as a writer (hence, the graduate study in English) and expects this work to be the start of a highly successful career as a writer of fiction. He is catering to an audience that talks about violence a lot, including Stormfront and the Birfers outside Stormfront. His work fits right in.

The original book is available from Amazon Stories I've Finished Before I'm Dead. The River is sort of a second edition of this book, I believe; I don't see it on Amazon. There are no reviews from responsible publications like Publishers' Weekly, and there are no customer reviews.
