Crackers. I knew I should have saved that WND article earlier today. Because they've already edited the content without editorial comment.

Whereas the article used to begin "A college professor who worked as a senior elections clerk," (see mimi's post #2), it now starts "A college instructor who worked as a senior elections clerk."

Who knows what else they've changed.

Maybe Doc took a snapshot.

This year, Hawaii voters can start applying for absentee ballots after July 20, IIRC.

=D>

Even that is incorrect and misleading. "Graduate Teaching Assistant" would be the correct title, and it may refer to no more than his assisting a member of the faculty in taking roll, proctoring exams, and grading exams or papers under supervision.
Edit: In fact, most universities do not permit a student to have sole responsibility for teaching a class until the student has earned an M.A. or M.S. in the field in which the student would be teaching.

I am quite confident that Western Kentucky is not going to fire this character because of the political views that he has expressed outside his job as a TA, unless he also violated a law. Being a member of Stormfront is not illegal. If he were fired because of his political lunacy, WKU could find itself on the AAUP blacklist. However, it is not OK for a teacher to say just anything in her classroom. A chemist should not opine about the crimes of George W. Bush, for example. That might be cause for a reprimand. If this guy said or did something threatening to students, that would be an entirely different matter, and it sounds like he might be the kind of person to do that. If he has used his Stormfront rantings in the classroom, that would likely fall under hate speech -- which is a disciplinary problem on campuses even if it is perfectly OK in the external world.

Incidentally, he is dead wrong about what Hawaiian civilization and other "primitive" civilizations have accomplished. For example, from the Aztecs on down to the tip of South America, the people knew about the wheel. They used it in children's toys. Their problem was that they had only humans to pull wagons. The only possible beast of burden was the llama, which is quite difficult to domesticate for labor. Think of a camel with a gentle face and a really vile temper. Sometimes llamas did carry packs on their backs, but I know of no record of their having pulled a wagon. Forget what we know as the buffalo, the American bison. It would definitely not have served as a beast of burden. The horse, mule, donkey, water buffalo, camel, ox, cow, etc. were all brought over from the Fertile Crescent via Europe.

His views about other civilizations are pretty typical of racists. They are also pretty typically wrong.

Close! - that was the date this year, in 2008 it was July 22.

But that would be to apply for ballots not to vote. This guy left 'in August' ( from his posts most likely prior to August 16) before the presidential nominations so there can't have been any presidental ballots printed much less voted. BS upon BS.

This is the book he self-published in 2007 and reissued in 2009 as "The River And Other Stories."

Tolland and LM K, in particular, may be interested in reading these preview pages.

If this is about his own life, he was as miserable as a child as he seems to be as an adult.

I'm sorry if this is a dupe, but I'm rushing.

From WND article:
Quote:
"I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity," Adams explained. "I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama]."

I call BS on this. There is NO way that a temporary employee of the City and County of Honolulu would be given direct access to state and federal records. Not to mention, how the heck would his City and County boss know anything about a state birth record?

This guy is full of it!

Perhaps his boss told him that. Where he was working, why would they have one or even have need to or access to those records? :-k

Wow. I've read only a few pages, but I am coming to a conclusion: the man is a liar. He was beaten often and severely by his older brother, but when they were both fifteen, he almost shot his sibling? And it was his sibling who maltreated him, when at first it was his father? Stream-of-consciousness BS, perhaps the product of a mental illness, perhaps not. There's a very good reason this was self-published. I'll read more later; off to teach a class now.

His MySpace profile is for somebody named "Brian Johnson" - Adams photo and book reference are there. He blogs first as Brian Johnson and then drops it, but it's the same style and content. Scroll down. Not sure it means anything, but it's there.

I just spoke with Geri, who is the Assistant to the Elections Adm. for the County Of Kauai. She has been employed there for 10 years. She stated that they only have access to the State Voter Registration system. She started laughing when I read her the list of databases this guy claimed to have access to as a temporary employee no less.

WHAT ballots?

Hawaii's primary was Sept. 20, 2008 and of course the general was Nov. 4, 2008.

The LIAR left in August.

Hawaii's Presidential Primary/Caucus was held February 19, 2008.

Mimi,

Yet, the birfers trust this guy? Amazing. Tim Adams eyes give me the creeps. In my opinion, the birthers, because of hate, racism and bigotry have associated with individuals they generally would not associate with.
