This paragraph caught my eye. I knew he got his B.A in 1966 and his J.D in 1969. How could he be in Vietnam and attend school in Champagne, Illinois??????
Andy gives care and attention to his biography in Wikipedia, so it is quite strange that the claim to have served in Vietnam does not appear in that article. The sad thing is that Martin-Trigona may now believe that to be true. I think a whole lot of his life has been constructed on self-delusions.

I knew Anthony R. Martin-Trigona when he was a student at the University of llinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was a faculty member holding office on the Urbana City Council. I'm Democratic. Tony (now Andy) was a student who ran for County Clerk as a Democrat (he barely made the minimum age and luckily for the County, he lost (luckily for the good of the County, he lost). While an undergrad, he took a month's trip to Viet Nam at government expense and when he returned, he was no longer anti the war, but very much pro war. Everyone was amazed, but figured he had been fed quite a line.
Later, he got a law degree from Illinois, but did not pass the character qualifications of the bar exam and was denied admission to the Illinois Bar. He sued for admission, but lost. As time went on, he got more and more far out, running for various offices in various states, adopting the name Andy Martin. When I knew him, he never seemed anti-Semitic (I am Jewish) but as he become weirder he started to make anti-Semitic remarks. From time to time, he gets mentioned in our local paper, The News-Gazette. Each new story is weirder the last. If this is the way Hannity operates, even the conservatives in our will find him without credibility.
