Notice they did not mention that she was a lawyer.

I'll bet the documents are in the trash can by now.

What a dumbass to think she can "serve" papers to the SC that way. She needs to be stopped!

Maybe one or two more of these episodes and she will be.

couldn't resist posting this to the Seatte paper site under comments - mine is the first:

Of course, Orly Taitz is the mail order law school lawyer from California who has found a career, and lots of PayPal funding thru a make believe foundation.

The former Russian's cause in life appears to be causing disruption to the American court system with a series of frivolous lawsuits, which have now ensnared some active duty military folk placing them at risk of military court actions. Her chutzpah includes placing herself at events of the Supreme Court justices to attempt to "serve" the papers, rather than honoring the rules of the courts.

Of course, as in PT Barnum, a fool and his money are easily separated.

*Chuckle* She actually did go up there. Amazing. At the rate, the order she'll see from the Supreme Court will be the retraining type.

I wonder how she'll spin this one though......

Hopefully, for her own good, security had a talk with her and she listened and got the message. Doubtful that all those stars aligned though.

"Ah, Dr. Orly Taitz, the California Dentist with a law degree from an on-line law school, and an almost pathological hatred of President Obama, (or Barry Soetoro, as she claims that he lost his US citizenship, or indeed never had it.) Never mind there's never been any credible proof of the claims, just a batch of unfounded rumours on the internet.

She's demanded court orders to remove President Obama, and has lost one case already in front of the Supreme Court, (which she blames on the clerks) She's involved with another case in California that just got rejected today, and has been trying to get active duty military personnel to join in another lawsuit - putting them at risk of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice during a time of war. She also openly calls for a military coup to overthrow the "usurper".

In the meantime on her website, she spins wild-eyed claims of Muslim terrorists moving into people's neighborhoods, George Soros trying to destroy the US economy, and that every member of the House, Senate, all 50 Governors, the Supreme Court, the electors in every state, the DNC, the GOP, and all the media are hiding the "truth" about Barack Obama.

It says a lot about her mental state that she traveled from California to Idaho just to try and deliver her latest demand to the courts. The court order she needs is of the restraining type."

I'd sell popcorn.

Someone posted the relevant part of the Seattle Times Article in the comments at Orly's blog and it has already been scrubbed. Big suprise there.

How embarrassing for Orly...college kids (an audience already far better-educated and knowledgable than her blog regulars) laughing at her.

And it's interesting how 324,000 signatures (non-verified and easily duplicative) on the WorldNutDaily petition suddenly morphed into "half a million." Must be that Russian math. ;)

Reported by Examiner.com

Quote:
MOSCOW, Idaho (Map, News) - Chief Justice John Roberts discussed the legal prowess of President Lincoln during a university lecture Friday and fended off an audience member who advanced the widely discredited theory that Barack Obama was not legally qualified to be president.

That about sums it up.

I have no sympathy for officers on AD (and somewhat more sympathy for the enlisted) getting involved in this. They should know better.

From One of the Law Students at University of Idaho:

Quote:
The Chief Justice talked about Lincoln and how he was a great attorney and man. It was good. Then he opened the floor for questions and this crazy lady wanted to know why the Supreme Court wouldn't listen to her case about allowing Obama to become president when he isn't a US citizen and she was going off. So the Chief Justice interuppted her said that she could leave her papers with the security and he would look them over and that due to his position he could not discuss cases and ended it. Smooth! That is how you do it!

Well, you just know that in OrlyWorld this is going to be interpreted as "Chief Justice Roberts said he would take my case. Mission accomplished!"

Edited for typos. I haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

One of the Edtards at Plains had this interpretation of the news article,
Quote:
It is morely certain Taitz educated the silent majority in the auditorum with her few words while a few people planted in the audience laughed. Fact is Roberts asked to have the documents passed to his security officers for safekeep. He could have asked Taitz to file the documents through the regular court channels (Danny Bickle), and of course he can't discuss the lawsuit publicly.

Shame on Mr. Geranios for putting political spin into a useless report. Bravo for Dr. Taitz.

See? It was just a few "planted" Obots who were there to laugh. Everyone else was getting educated by the Orly. :D

Chief Justice John Roberts discusses Lincoln
Quote:
Regardless of the presented interpretation of the event below, Orly did it. She got the documents to Chief Justice Roberts. Her story didn't sound like this one below; but who else would have traveled thousands of miles to fight this in justice.

Thank you Dr. Taitz!

I just learned yesterday there is one of these events coming to my hometown. It is Justice Scalia speaking, and since she's already "served" him, she might show up to get a ruling from him.

I am going to try to get a reservation to attend on Monday. If I am too late, I'll poll my clients to see if any of them are attending (and I'd bet some are), and if not them, the chief justice of the state supreme court is a good friend, and I'd "think" he'd attend, and also several judges from the appeals court are friends. Someone from those ranks should be attending, and I'll at least get a report from them.

Should be interesting.

Deifinitely! Someone should start posting at Depends to encourage Orly to attend (I can't cuz she's banned me). Something like, "Orly, Justice Scalia was so receptive and listened to you when you met him. I'll bet now that he has had time to read your papers he has lots of questions and you are just the person to answer them. You MUST go to Albuquerque. C'mon everyone, lets all donate to DOF so Orly will have airfare."

Hmmm. Maybe Orly's only in this for the paid vacations. It makes as much sense as anything else she does. :D
