As discussed in the Orly Makes The News thread, I'm going to try my hand at a birfer political cartoon. There's been some character development with great input from several PJers (thanks!) and I think we're ready to give it a shot. I'd like to think of this as a collaborative effort, so let's have a little fun and keep those cards and letters coming.

Here's the first prototype, originally posted in Orly Makes The News:

And here's my second go-around before deciding on a final format:

Next post...Orly-Toons #1(which will never be worth as much as that first Superman comic)

I love them both!

You got 'Grail' down beautifully. 'This interview, which I own, is now over'. =))

Loved 'the court will hear about this boinkage', and Neon's Dalek Avatar singing. :D

Great stuff. Thank you.

OMG - The original was great so I've been waiting impatiently for you to start this thread, Estiveo. Your new additions were SO worth the wait. :xo I am seriously in awe - and I particularly love the bailiff from "Night Court". Can't wait for the next installment(s)! -xx

I love the CEL# character, as he is EXACTLY as rikker described him.

I love me the miscreants, too, as that's just how I aways pitchered 'em.

The more I look, the more inspired I think 'Grail' is. Both the picture and the name. :D

Per the rules of the forum, one is not permitted to post merely five smilies without any text. I'm sorry, that is two points off.

I'm hoping to settle this down to a once or twice a week thing, I'm thinking Mondays and Wednesdays if twice, Wednesdays if once. But when you get a real-time opportunity like Larry's visit with the Sekrit Service...who could pass that up?

Coming Monday: a scene from CEL III's recent affadavit about him and Orly, last summer in Pilladellia...

I'm sitting in the dark, on the sofa, giggling like a little girl over #2. Teeheeheeheehee. The dogs have come in to see wtf and the cats have left the area. Thanks, Estiveo. I needed that.

These 'toons are simply great. I see I'm going to spend a good deal of time on these posts.

And they are far better than Superman!
