Gabriel Sherman just told @MSNBC that Sean Hannity hired Michael Cohen to defend against "left-wing groups" who were boycotting other Fox hosts. Hannity reportedly got really paranoid and even hired private investigators to look into these "left-wing groups."

So, they are saying if the U.S. Attorney gets a warrant and searches Tom Hagen's office, the Michael Corleone gets to sort through the documents first because he is Tom Hagen's biggest client?

Hendon being a smart cookie and trying to get on Judge Wood's good side and not coming across as smarmy or ultra important because of POTUS, at least so far. More advice for Cohen's lawyers - you actually should read the cases you cite, not just the head notes. SAD. LOSERS. STUPID CLIENT FOR HIRING STUPID LAWYERS.

Adam Klasfeld

@KlasfeldReports

Hendon responds to government's suggestion that Cohen is "not a real lawyer."

"That may be right, that may be wrong," she says, but adds someone who "holds these views and expresses them publicly cannot be counted upon" to vindicate attorney-client privilege.

Hannity - wottanidiot! How stoopid is it for someone with an embarrassing problem to go to Trump's lawyer? Firstly, he should suspect that the lawyer is probably a dishonest asshat from the lawyer's choice of Most Favored Client. Secondly, he should be very suspicious that his private business might well be discussed with the Most Favored Client (breaking any confidentiality) to his probable detriment.

Ms Hendon may be the only adult on that side of the court.

INAL, but I think she probably told Trump’s messengers that she would do it her way. She knows those privilege arguments are weak, but they are the best that can be salvaged.

Fair point! Certainly quite likely.

Even so, maintaining separation would still be prudent self-protection.
