I disagree. If she insisted that the parties adhere to the rules, she would have told Taitz that the amended complaint was not properly before the court, the case was dismissed and she would have to refile.

Instead, she bent over backward to revive a zombie for an out-of-state lunatic without zero standing, much less "perfect" standing.

If Orly refiled, the new case might very well end up randomly assigned to another judge.

Judge Reid did, in fact, inform the parties of what exactly was before the court at the first hearing, which I attended. She was also clear that things filed after the appropriate date were not before the court. I'm not sure how much more explicit she could have been on that point.

Since Orly could, in fact, refile in any event, I don't see why it was inappropriate for the court to clarify its original order and allow this other crap to be litigated, as it would be were it to be filed anew and assigned to another judge.

It might, in fact, end up just assigned to Judge Reid anyway. I don't see the problem in keeping it all under the same docket number.

Judge Reid has insured she has Taitz's amended case. And Taitz will let Judge Reid know just how smart a decision that was.

Extensive interdelineation comes to mind.

The Court could not have first crossed out or amended any portion of the proposed order as written, could it? No, that would never happen. 8-)
Edit: Mark beat me.

Probably the only surving language from Orly's original proposed order is the caption and the "It is so ordered" and signature line.

The proof of the pudding will be in the posting. If it's never posted we know what that would mean. Too bad we can't get someone to go to the clerk's order and get a copy (on which we can festoon a TFB "watermark").

And she won't even get a slap on the wrist?

Figures.

It’s like calling a signature a “John Hancock”, or in the words of my dear departed dad a “Henry Fistpecker”

Sounds like Stern is redecorating the FEMA Camp.

Supposed to mean "The Worst Lawyer In The History Of The Universe". But Mr. Anal Language Weenie finds it ... unsatisfactory.

Try "The Worst Attorney [in] The History Of The Planet". TWATHOTP. Pronounced: "twat hot pea". As in "hotter, etc."

No thanks are necessary. I do it from a spirit of public service.

Usually, I speculate in a situation like this.

This time, I haven't the foggiest.

I doubt it will disappoint, though.

Just for clarification, wouldn't the judge sign it whether she accepted it or not? I'm thinking Orcly may be in for a big surprise.
