Does not include the trial, but is about Orly's post on her blog yesterday:

Politics
Orly Taitz Delusional Quote of the Day

By Matt Coker Thu., Jan. 26 2012 at 8:17 AM
Categories: Politics, The Hilarious Haters

Quote:
"Does this look like a behavior of an innocent person? An innocent person would have come to court and showed all the valid documents with the embossed seals, which are verifiable. Instead he is acting like a 5-year-old brat, saying 'I am afraid of Orly, 'I want the secretary of state of GA to act like my mommy and protect me from Orly.' Some leader of a free world . . ."

[snip]

Quote:
Orly began thusly:

"What Obama is asking now, is totally insane. He is asking the Secretary of State of GA to take the trial away from the judge on the eve of the trial. He is mostly crying on the shoulder of the Secretary of State of GA and saying that Orly is bad, because she issued all of those subpoenas. So after the judge told Obama, that the subpoena, that I issued was perfectly valid and he had to appear in court tomorrow and bring with him all of the documents, that I demanded, Obama decided to go behind the back of the judge and send the same complaint about me to the Secretary of State and he is asking the Secretary of State to take the trial away from the judge."

Quote:
Scoff not, because one thing this lady is intimate with is insanity.

Side note on Orly's pathology:

I imagine her reading something here, something like Stern opining on how dreadful she was.

And then I imagine her defending herself thusly: "You could do better? Hokay, why aren't you? I, I, I am doing all the work 24/7/365, but, but, if someone else can do better, someone, with more litigation experience, why aren't they, helping?"

I think she believes the facts are conclusive. She doesn't understand that when we say dreadful, it's not only a matter of procedure. It's also the material is fatally flawed. It's as if a sculptor were trying to emulate Michelango's David by sculpting mud rather than marble. A better sculptor would first of all discard the mud.

Of course, she simultaneously believes that she is brilliant and perfect, and no-one could do better, and the only reason it all fails is the officials and judges are willfully refusing to acknowledge the truth. So there's that. :-bd

As a matter of fact, yes. Once. My father did that. He was representing a client in a small town justice of the peace court on a traffic matter. The police officer testified about the Vascar equipment he used to clock the defendant's speed. Dad got the officer to claim he was an expert on the radar equipment. As an "expert" the officer testified that the beam emitted from the Vascar device was cigar shaped. WTF? Radar is a conical beam.

So my dad, who was a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer for ten years before going to law school, asked the court to allow him to take the stand and testify. The JP -- I don't recall whether he had a law degree or not -- swore Dad in and Dad took the stand. He qualified himself as an expert witness on the use of Vascar devices.

A friend of mine did that as well. He was a Coast Guard officer, but his original enlisted specialty was radar operator. He got a speeding ticket, the officer testified about the reading - and my friend asked him if he'd tested the unit after turning it on for the day. The officer said he hadn't, and then my friend swore himself in as an expert, and gave a long briefing to the judge as to why that had to be done, etc. He got off - although he did admit to me that he had been speeding.

This entire proceeding has been political theater.

The Republicans in Georgia made the calculation that proceeding with this farce would be good for them politically. Likewise, the Obama campaign made the decision that boycotting once it was demonstrated to be a charade was best for them politically. Everyone knows that President Obama is qualified and can’t be denied the ballot in Georgia or anywhere else.

So, while I originally disagreed with the decision, I respect the campaign for sticking to its guns and treating this as it has treated all of birtherism – with as little attention and effort necessary to get it out of the way.

I still remember September 15, 2008 when the awful economic news came out and McCain panicked and said he was suspending his campaign. The Obama campaign just continued to move forward on its steady course. It never went off message. It never panicked. But it took advantage of McCain’s panic and disarray. And people noticed.

That’s why our President is called No Drama Obama.

He goes further later on:

Quote:
The Judge asked the non-Orly Plaintiffs if was an objection to entering the COLB and Long Form BC downloaded and copied from the web as authenticated and certified documents and they did not object. The documents were entered as undisputed fact.

All the Judge knows is that Obama was born in Hawai’i. He disallowed the evidence of Obama’s Indonesian school record. As far as the Judge is concerned, Obama was born an American and stay an American is whole life.

I couldn't hear very well. Did other folks hear that exchange between the judge and the plaintiffs?

In my opinion, the GOP candidates, members of Congress, State Governors, legislatures look like a bunch of extreme right wing religious crazies so this dog and pony show today is just more proof that the GOP have become too extreme.

Sorry if this has been posted, but I missed the part about the certified copy of the BC being sent directly to the SoS? When did that happen and how do we know? I don't doubt it, but I just missed that post somehow.

^^^^^^^ This. I think we've confirmed two things in all of this:

Orly Nevah disappoints

and

Obama wins

I think we've done a lot of rational analysis and wild-ass speculation regarding trees here (myself included), but I'm glad that the Obama campaign kept their focus on the forest...

I suspect that if Jablonski was watching these proceedings from the comfort of his office that he was mighty happy when President Obama's short and long form birth certificates were received in evidence. After that it was over. As often happens, the opposition proved their opponent's case and the other side didn't have to lift a finger. Taitz should have jumped up and objected at that point. But, being the dullard she is, I doubt she understood the significance of what was going on.

Cal Malihi accept the birth certificates in two of the cases and recommend President Obama stay on the ballot? And then in Taitz's case ignore the evidence before him and recommend to the contrary?

I don't think so.

From what I could hear, and that was probably 30% at best, not only was Orly's presentation probably one of the worst by an attorney in history, both Irions and Hatfield looked awful too. They both threw in a bunch of lies and complete nonsense on Minor v Happerrset and Irions called the most important decision in history on citizenship "Kim Wong Ark".

It will be fun to get the reports from the Fogbowers in GA.

Orly's had her big chance to put her wares on full display at the trial of the century. And while she was feenishing, some people yawned, some people laughed and most people couldn't have given a rat's ass about her birferbabble.

So what does she do now for an encore?

Oh yeah, I forgot. She's going to parlay her fame into a U.S. Senate seat. Silly me.
