Whoa! That's some pretty serious stuff.

This is another deep capture or regulatory capture. Many of the Bush crony appointments, pere et fil, have burrowed into the agencies they are supposed to be regulating, making regulation pointless. It seems to have been the plan all along.

It's one of the hardest things to deal with. It's foggy in the extreme, hard to prove and harder to fix. It makes a mockery of our democracy (Demockracy?).
