I saw this hit the web and seeing as Rep Peter King has always been one of those guys you feel embarrassed of I thought I'd share.
You may remember Peter King as one of the crazy anti-immigrant types. He also said during the 2004 election don't worry about the votes in Ohio because "we'll take care of the counting"
Those of you who watch the tv show Fringe may know him as "Walternate". Anyway to the heart of the story. It seems Peter King was involved in a reality tv show called Fugitives. One of the perceived violations is they filmed in a private residence and Peter King appears to be impersonating a police officer.
The U.S. Marshals Service is investigating a Monday raid in Brooklyn to see if a video taken of Rep. Peter King during the arrest of a fugitive violates federal policy, a spokesman for the agency said Tuesday.
Mr. King, a Nassau County Republican who is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, was filmed accompanying marshals as they stormed a walk-up apartment in search of a fugitive. ... "The policy restrictions which prohibit individuals who are not U.S. Marshals employees or Task Force Officers from filming inside a private residence are intended to be in place during all ride-alongs," marshals spokesman Jeff Carter said. "We are currently investigating this matter to determine exactly what happened in this instance."

Well it might have been funny had they not killed all those poor roosters. The last raid he did on suspected cock-fighting rings had the same result. The news article did not say if the roosters were already dead or that they were killed during the raid.
