Jay Carney is making me really nervous. I hope they get somebody more capable for the campaign season.

Isn't Gibbs going to work on the campaign? I assumed that was why he left.

I think Wavey is correct, Gibbs is already on the campaign. But I hear you about Carney. As despicable as Ari and Tony Snow were, they took control. Both Gibbs and Carney seem at the most distant point at the opposite end of the spectrum.

I mean as WH press spokesman when things get hot and heavy during the campaign season and everything is going haywire. I don't think Jay Carney is right for the job. Gibbs will be working on the campaign, I understand, as an advisor unless that's changed.

Not if you're an asshole, then it's the perfect job. But that personality type doesn't seem to be a good fit in this administration.

I don't dislike Carney, but I LOVED Gibbs. I'm prolly in the minority here, but I thought he brought a perfect mix of snark, disdain and gravitas to the office. (And yes I did rate those three attributes in the order of what I think is
important. I'm screwy that way.)

I thought Gibbs was too snarky, Carney isn't tough enough. I think Gibbs is working on the campaign. Heh, what about PJ Crowley? Oh, yeah, oops.
