Yes they will. Democrats don't question the religious faith of candidates. Only Republicans do that.

Part of what Grenell was reacting to was this paragraph in a National Review article (cited in the Washington Post article):
Quote:
In the National Review, Mathew Frank wrote late last week: “Suppose Barack Obama comes out — as Grenell wishes he would — in favor of same-sex marriage in his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. How fast and how publicly will Richard Grenell decamp from Romney to Obama?”

It is nice to see Rmoney plagued by those he courted.

Short answer is no, but long answer is complicated. I know plenty of Dems who believe Mormonism is a cult and in recent light of FLDS shenanigans they do look at it as being problematic. I went to a Coffee Party meeting last weekend. Romney's Mormonism did concern some of the older members, but at least they're intelligent enough not to believe Obama is a secret Muslim.

Newtie Out! Buh Bye!

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich officially ended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination on Wednesday.

In delivering a statement on his departure from the race, Gingrich characterized his time on the trail as "a truly wild ride."

Despite hitting bumps in the road, it wasn't too long ago that Gingrich vowed to continue his campaign all the way to the Republican convention in Tampa in August. On Tuesday, he released a web video addressing his decision to abandon his presidential operation.

Gee. Newt goes out in a blaze of . . . video. Do you wonder why he did that?

Was it so that his purported film producer :yankyank: wife, Tiffany-Callista, could produce the video and cart off some more cash?

You might very well think that, but I only ask questions.

Designer of Ann Romney’s $1K Shirt Says It’s Off The Rack

CHANTILLY, Va. — The fashion house that makes the nearly $1,000 blouse worn by Ann Romney on morning television earlier this week tells ABC News that they had nothing to do with the wardrobe choice, remarking that they’d prefer to stay out of politics.

“We had nothing to do with it,” a rep for designer Reed Krakoff said. “She must have bought it from Saks or Bergdorf’s, we definitely didn’t send it to her.”

“It’s 100 percent a Reed Krakoff shirt, but we 100 percent didn’t send it to her,” the rep added. ”We don’t get involved politically.”

The shirt, an item in the label’s 2012 Spring/Summer collection, retails for $990, and for those shopping, is called the “The Reed Audubon Silk Shirt.”

Wow, if I was going to buy a $1000 shirt, there would have to be about $900 cash in the pocket.

Her shirt certainly made a statement. I haven't notice anything about what either Ann or Mitt had to say in the interview. The shirt sure made the headlines all over. It would have been better to save it for a trip to the aquarium visit or a pool party in Palm Beach.

If I am lucky I can pick that one up in a year or two at Goodwill for a buck or two.

I wonder if Anne Rmoney even knows what the inside of a Goodwill/Value Village/2nd Chance Shop looks like. ?( ?( ?(

Edit: I wonder if she ever had baby puke on any of her thousand dollar blouses????

Wait... she paid $1000 for that ugly-ass shirt? Seriously? For $1000 one would expect to find diamonds encrusted on it or something.

Geez, even if I had Ann Rmoney's money I wouldn't spend $1000 on any blouse let alone that ugly-ass blouse. I bet she has a shopper who buys the clothes and dresser who coordinates and catalogs her wardrobe ala Princess Kate (and Sarah Palin Sep-Nov 4, 2008). Ann never sees the price tags or the bills. During a campaign like this, she might not wear the same outfit twice. At least we've seen Tiffany-Callista wearing the same uptight red and royal blue suits over and over. ( Meow)
