Our host, Mr. Friegen, is going to be otherwise occupied the weekend of June 28 - 30 (which won the poll in the first thread). Let's choose another option.

Please vote in the poll and identify yourself in the thread or by PM so I know who's coming and can set up some secure communication channels.

So we can't party at the camp without him? :((

Sounds like a plan! Image

Edit: Okay, I guess we need him there. Well, I won't vote because any one of those weekends works for me, as of now. I promise to bring yummy food, and help in any other way, other than pruning than roses or feeding any errant horses. Oh, or reconnoitering for unfriendly snakes.

Voting for 21 - 23. I will be at my nephew's wedding the previous weekend. First week of June is also ok for me.

Ackshully, Foogie, I don't mean to be dificile 8> but I could still do the last weekend, just not for a few hours on the 30th. So if you could put that back up as a choice we shall see what we shall see.

The 5,000 ChiCom troops should keep everything in good order and protect the likker cabinet.

Once we have picked a weekend we will be providing indirections as to where to stay close by and what we are doing. I will be taking whoever shows up for the festivities to the Saddlepeak Lodge for dinner, my treat. And we will have a BBQ at my house, with steaks, sausages and chikin.

And I have it on Good Authority that Foogie will be showing up. But he has to promise not to lose anything this time. I don't want to take him underwear shopping again. [-X

14th to 16th works for me as I will be at the convention center in LA earlier in the week

14th to 16th is the one that absolutely won't work for me. Too close to a date with bigtime family importance.

Clarification, please on the word "whoever." Is there a distance traveled requirement?

One of my kids, who is in college, likes to tell me about some event he went to and got "free food". I remind him that all of his food is free... ;)

I've got a busy day on the 15th and I leave for Portugal on the 20th (thru the 30th) but would try to make at least one day of a meetup, whenever it happens.

Hokay!

Sorry, I'm swamped lately ... and leaving tomorrow for 3 days offline.

Anyway. I added the last weekend in June back in. I made it so you can vote for any OR ALL of the choices. Then I voted for all of them. I also made it so you can change your vote.

I'm either going to be able to make this or I 'm not (how's that for being noncommittal?). All's I' m saying, I guess, is don't plan anything around me, but once a date is chosen, I'll show up if I can. I had such a good time at the last meet-up -- I'd really love to meet some more Fogbowsers.

Aside from a birthday weekend, I have now officially received clearance from my better half to take a weekend trip to CA. It's also cool with the professor I'm RAing for. So I should be good for this one.

Shirley, exercises at FEMA Camp 17 would count, right?
